I wanted to extend my thank you to the Team of Doctors lead by #DrRituparnaBaruah and all the support staff #Sido, #Gureng , #Katia for their incredible hospitality during in my father’s surgery. #DrRituparnaBaruah has been simply brilliant in assessing my father’s heart condition and asserting the need of the surgery. The entire support team at CATH LAB RECOVERY took care of all the needs and assured my father doesn’t feel alone while overcoming the situation. My father has been through a lot within last 6 months hence this kind of support was really essential. The entire administrative team took care of all the paperwork related formalities effectively and efficiently..These are the kind of Dr and support staff continuous to make Apollo hospital a great place 👏👏👍

Team Apollo is simply excellent. My sincere thanks and deep appreciation to Dr. Kamal Kathar Sir and his team and Dr. Puja Banerjee Barua Madam and her team. Both are not only outstanding doctors but also exceptional human beings. Their professionalism, dedication, and compassionate care gave us immense confidence and comfort during this important phase of our lives. Coming to the nursing staff, my wholehearted gratitude to all the nurses for their tireless efforts and outstanding service. Each one of them played a vital role in ensuring the well-being of my wife and our babies. However, I would especially like to mention Miss Medhapati, Miss Martha, Miss Sanatombi, Miss Kom, and Miss Augustina. They truly went above and beyond their duties, consistently taking those extra steps that made all the difference. Their warmth, attentiveness, and kindness made us feel completely at home. Because of them, my wife and babies felt safe, cared for, and comforted at every moment. We will always remain grateful.

I appreciate Smti. Kiran Kolita, a doctor Assistant in Apollo Hospital, Christian Basti Guwahati. I have been noticing her since last few years and now since last 3 days I have been seeing her taking care of patients who are on wheel chairs, guiding the patients who are in queue, taking tea and coffee for doctors who are on hectic duty.... And she's always with a sweet smile on her face..... Hats off to her! May God bless her.....

Dissatisfied with the parking facility and behaviour of some of the security staff. They don't know how to treat a person and keep on questioning on everything. Moreover some of the nurses really need some good training on behaviour with patients and show some compassion. Doctors are good over there. I being a pregnant patient definitely requires some nice behaviour from staff ( nurses, security) which is not of quality over there. If possible try to keep some quality staff over there.

Review of Apollo Hospital, GS Road, Guwahati – Disappointing Experience & Overpriced Services I recently had an experience at Apollo Hospital, GS Road, Guwahati, and unfortunately, it was far from satisfactory. While most doctors are highly knowledgeable, polite, and professional, the overall quality of services, both in hospitalization and OPD, was disappointing—especially given the exorbitant charges. Here’s a breakdown of my concerns: Hospitalization Issues: 1. Overpriced Services: The charges for hospitalization, ICU, and room rent are nearly double compared to reputed hospitals like Medanta and Fortis, yet the quality of service is significantly lower. 2. Unhygienic Conditions: The hospital wards, rooms, and toilets were not well-maintained, raising serious hygiene concerns. 3. Excessive Pharmacy Charges: The hospital pharmacy sells medicines and surgical items at full MRP, whereas the Apollo 24/7 app offers the same with a 10-20% discount and home delivery. 4. Lack of Basic Facilities: Despite high charges, there is no proper parking space within the hospital premises. 5. Poor Staff Behavior: The hospital staff, including administrative and support teams, displayed unprofessional and unhelpful behavior, prioritizing financial gains over patient care. OPD Issues: 1. Inflated Test & Scan Charges: While Apollo 24/7 app lists genuine prices for diagnostic tests, the hospital charges almost three times more for the same services. 2. Service Quality Mismatch: The OPD charges are significantly higher than industry standards, but the service quality does not justify the cost. Conclusion: Given Apollo’s brand reputation, I expected world-class service, but instead, I experienced overpriced services, poor hygiene, and staff behavior that seemed more focused on maximizing revenue rather than patient care. I hope the hospital management takes serious steps to improve these issues and align their pricing with industry standards.

I was admitted on this hospital on last 8th September 2025. I was admitted for my Gallbladder Stone operation. I'm very happy to say that, this hospital service is so fast and smooth that next day (9th September 2025) my operation done successfully. My Post operation condition is so good that Doctor release me on next evening. Hospital has very good management, staff and Doctor's.
