The House of Thukpa : Authentic Tibetan Food

We’ve been having Thukpa from The Thukpa House since the days it was just ₹110, and the taste has stayed exactly the same — warm, familiar, and comforting. Their staff is still as friendly as ever, always greeting us with a smile, and the atmosphere remains cheerful and welcoming. Over the years, this place has genuinely become our comfort restaurant — the spot we go to when we just want a good meal and a peaceful vibe. Some places grow, some change… but The Thukpa House kept its heart the same. And that’s why we keep coming back.

My recent dining experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, a piece of steel scrubber was found, made me feel sick and disgusting. The manager was rude and careless and treat us very poorly and i got hospitalised for food poisoning and the worst part they didn't cooperate with the hospital bills, and they didn't even take responsibility for it. And we didn't even get our refund, such a careless staff.

I'm coming here since the opening of this restaurant in Chandmari. The thukpa is extremely delicious in comparison to other restaurants who serve thukpa which tastes just bland and tasteless but here in this restaurant they serve the most delicious thukpa you'll get in the city of Guwahati. Do visit here once and I assure you, you won't be disappointed. Even the pricing is decent of all items in the menu. Also, try their malai momo. Very tasty and savoury.

A very very cozy and delicate space. Very underrated. I would suggest people to visit here asap. The food here is soooo good. I really am obsessed with this place. My personal favorites are : Malai Chicken Momo, Chicken Thukpa, Chocolate Shake and their combo sets. Thank you so much Thukpa ♥️

Earlier momos were better and bigger. I feel quality is not upto mark these days.. but I have faith in this restaurant. I am an old customer. Hope they improve the shortcomings. Peace!

Something unique restaurant with unique food manu i found ever in Guwahati city, food was supper testy. Excellent service in that kangkana and nisha was very friendly and helpful and always guiding for different test of food . highly recommend those are looking for authentic food in Guwahati city. It's good , food quality taste is very nice . Just one suggestion, please serve noodles or thukpa with chopsticks 🥢, it makes more authentic. Thats it overall 4 star
