Great atmosphere, Right in the heart of the city area.. little small but cute looking inn. Food was good. The khar they served tasted a little different.. good experience

If you want to taste the authentic Assamese thali, this is the place you should visit. It is located a bit inside from the main street, but it's easy to locate with google maps. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. We had 2 Swargadew fish thali and a simple veg thali. The food was tasty. There were many dishes in the thali and the staff even explained the names. The rates are affordable according to the thali. Sufficient seating arrangements. Wash basin is available. They accept online payments. Happy Eating!!

Bad quality of food, Bad service. Worst quality of rice, Uncooked chicken, Potato fry was full of sand particles. Ignorant preparation of food can be seen and tasted in every item. Learned the lesson hard way, to not trust people promoting food/restaurants in social media (for money ¿)

Had a nice experience dining at this quaint little restaurant. They serve traditional thalis in veg, non veg and fish versions. We were honestly surprised at how tasteful the thalis were. We tried each of them and they were full of flavors. They prepare and serve the rice in a local leaf called the Koupat, rice was very flavourful. Only downside is the wait is long, more than 20 mins. And also it would be great if they add starters in their menu so that people dont get annoyed while waiting for their food. Plus if you go late, not all items on the menu might be available.

A small restaurant yet cozy delightful restaurant. I had heard about it several times and was finally able to visit it and was not at all disappointed. The restaurant serves different thalis, so one can choose depending on their preference. We went for pork and chicken special thalis and the number of items on each Thali was overwhelming. And I would love to say that, most of the items were delectable but I was too full by the end of the meal. So keeping in mind, next time I would rather opt for the simple thali with fewer items.

Absolutely fantastic place. In a prime location of Guwahati and undoubtedly one of the best in the town. They have amazing thalis and all extremely value for money. 3 fish preparations in a thali I have never seen anywhere in Assam or for that matter in other states. This was my first visit and I am mighty impressed. Will definitely come back. If you love authentic Assamese thali at a reasonable price in a very good ambience then this is the place Staff are very courteous and eager to help

I had been fasting the whole day due to a medical test and decided to eat here since it was nearby, but the amount of time they took was worse than waiting for a doctor. The other people couldn't wait and were calling them. The boys were in the next room, having their sweet own time. The food wasn't cooked well. The meat pieces were horrible and the taste was below expectations. I learned my lesson that day never to trust people promoting on social media.

First tried swargadeo chicken thali and it was good…but the dal needs to be improved and also the kheer….otherwise it is nice….in the swargadeo thali which is of Rs. 350 …three types of chicken or pork was provided along with other veggies like chicken dry fry…boiled chicken n chicken curry…. But recently I had visited again and in the swargadeo thali (price is remain same) but the dry chicken was removed from the menu which is so disappointing as I like the dry fry….may be due to the higher rate of price increasing day by day….but after all I like the food acpt the dal n kheer
