What a lovely restaurant. It's so so neat and clean and interior is nicely done. Really loved it's ambience and hygiene. Very well maintained. Food is also great. I ordered duck thali and so many items were included - joha rice, yellow dal, black dal, salad, brinjal fry, koldil bhaaji, cabbage bhaji, xhaar, dal bora, aloo pitika, xoru aloo bhaji, duck fry, duck thali and kheer. It was really delicious. Very light and not so spicy. We all loved it. Only thing was duck fry quantity was very less. Only two small pieces were there. Otherwise everything was yummy. The server guy was very sweet and courteous. All the staff looked so innocent sweet. We didn't have to wait for long. I suggest them to keep maintaining the place in terms of cleanliness, hygiene and good food and it will be one of the happening restaurants in the town. Very good 👍

Nice Restaurant with good ambience. Really appreciate the look and feel of the restaurant. Food was good with nice flavours. They are really trying hard to keep the authentic Assamese thali with good taste. Good place to go. Thumbs up.👍

This is my first visit to this place with my family. Great ambiance...great hospitality and above all great food, we ordered Hakka Chicken chow, Prawn fried rice which has been cooked as instructed (less spicy) we also tried Ethnic combos- Duck and Pork combi...which are absolutely delicious...like the concept...as thali contains lots of item...and if you are not interested in so many items...then Combo is the best option ...will definitely plan again

The food tastes good. But the Tupula Bhat didn't taste that good. The rest of the food is plain and good for the health.

This was my first visit to this place with my family. We were eight of us, including two kids, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The ambiance is great, the hospitality is warm, and above all, the food is excellent. We ordered veg thali, duck dry fry, small fish fry, chicken, and ilish fish, and every dish was flavorful and well prepared. We especially loved the preparation by the chef, Purabi, and the excellent hospitality provided by the manager, Tarun. To the owner— although we visited only for dinner, Tarun was so dedicated and passionate about the business that he even took the time to show me the banquet hall and the homestay rooms, thinking I might have future requirements. He also arranged complimentary cake pieces for our kids, which was completely unexpected and truly appreciated. His dedication— just love. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and I will definitely plan to visit again.

I tried the Margees Special Veg Thali and tbh it was one of the tastiest thali I ever had. I also tried Duck and Pork with Bamboo Shoot and both the dishes were okay, but not great. The watermelon mojito was refreshing and good, a highly recommended drink from my end. If I ever had to visit this place, I would prefer the veg items over the non veg ones. Talking about the ambience and the place, it was beautifully decorated and had a pleasant environment. The staff were good, friendly and welcoming. Overall a good place for some authentic Assamese food.

Had a great time visiting Margees with my family. It provides the best of Ethnic & Oriental dishes. The ambience is warm and nourishing. Experienced the margees special chicken thali, providing 14 different items including chicken curry & chicken dry fry with a significant portion size. Also tried chicken dum biryani, it was delicious and nicely prepared & virgin mojito was also refreshing & good. Staffs are well experienced and service is just wonderful. Overall a good restaurant to have authentic Assamese meals. Highly recommend! They also offer a Banquet Hall, where Birthday Party & Engagement ceremonies were executed.

One of the best authentic Assamese food I had . The food is really take you old days of your missing and all items are really comfort to your tummy which you will enjoy like never before . Must try their thali non-veg and traditional one .
