DTO, Udalguri

Learner renewal application pending for months,yet they don't approve it.. When visited office there i found the official rate for DL i.e 6500/- And it's total open,the officials are discussing the rates and approving the doc's and granting DL without any test by just taking money.

Very bad experience. They get salary for doing nothing. If we ask they just say to do it online. Specially the female sitting there . They don't understand people's problem. I wonder why these people get salary for doing nothing. After paying money also they give excuses . They don't do the work.

I have been waiting since 11 am just for my long awaited DL approval...but The respected DTO has not arrived at office yet now.. many people have gathered to sort their works.. It seems really disappointig service from such a dutiful post....citizen's service need to be prioritized..but negligence is in utmost level.! Irritated and frustated by the officer!

Worst experience in a govt. Office. I waited for 1 hour just for one signature. There is no care for public by the officers and the employees. Outside the office it was written "No middle man is allowed to enter the office premise", but you will see a guy having a retailer shop outside, holding iphone enters without anyones permission and do what he wants. It is like his extra DTO office outside main office campus.

Needs an upgrade. the DTO office is in very bad condition and the building is too old to be a Office. Infrastructure is very poor. Rooms are few that's why some works are moved to other rooms outside the premises. The windows are broken. It will be an easy target for miscreants to wreck havoc.

The process of getting DL issued is too slow.It took me more than a year to get my DL in hand. The infrastructure is too poor. Driving test are not done for the two wheelers at all and even for the LMV they just conduct a nominal one. You might a new pair of shoes if you are going to issue DL from here.

This place is not good for Udalguris to go for lisence , jr office staffs demands bribe to do paper works or make very slow process. Humble request to udalguri DC to look into matter for better transparency. Requesting the concerned officer to publish the name of all officers as per RTI for public, designation, and contact numbers.

I feel that the bad governance giving for common people. All officer are money making mind. Call the people to dto Udalguri AS27 and snaching money of poor people who managed to gather some amount of amount for making driving licence.
