A small airport but has significance in this part of India where mode of transportation is limited. Very few people are aware about its existence. Flights from Shillong and Guwahati are helpful to cut down travel time. The service should be boosted through advertisement which can enhance tourism in this sector.

Smallest commercial airport of the north-eastern region. Connected only to Kolkata by weekly three days flight of Alliance Air ATR 72 aircraft.

Too pathetic. Lacking in the basics amenities, only those who have visited can only understand the sorry state of this airport.

Absolute garbage of an airport. Don't ever travel with them, the amount of cancelled flight is astonishing ,of all they don't tell you your flight is cancelled beforehand, it's so last minute that you will not be able to take any alternate ways. if you ever have to travel with them please have a backup plan.

The Manager was very rude and oversmart. I booked my flight with my student ID and total baggage allowance for students is 32kg and mine was only 25kg in total but Manager sir forced me to reduce my baggage weight to 15kg (I did so), also I asked to pay for the extra weight but he refused to accept it all he wanted was exact 15kg baggage. Others all the staff were very good and were soft spoken. But the manager Das sir was so stupid.
