IITG Cricket Ground

Very good cricket ground to play. There is not seperate place to sit and watch. But out field and pitches are nice. We can have good fun n practice.

Cricket ground inside IIT GUWAHATI...there is no sitting place here... audience has to stand n watch

The stadium is great as it's helping the noble cause of promoting sports, health and fitness. Now a days, we all know that people are engaging more in the gadgets and they are sidelining or not playing sports, so this stadium plays a very crucial role in providing a ground where people can play games.

A multipurpose ground. Basically it is for cricket but it is also used for various activities. Recently north east research conclave was organised there. Every year the annual cultural event ‘alcheringa’ is celebrated here. There is also two helipads for landing of VIP choppers.

Cricket ground of IIT Guwahati is incredible. There are many nets to practice. Bowling machine is there to practice and all the equipements are provided to batsman. Grass is cut from ground routinely and is maintained very well. This ground is opposite to Siang Hostel. "ALCHERINGA" the biggest festival of IIT Guwahati is celebrated on this ground. Lot of fun events go on. This ground gets fully occupied in these days.

One of the best cricket stadium to play cricket. i enjoyed my game over this place & would love to play over and again at this place... the stadium is at high altitude due to which ball swings for a longer period of time & love to challange myself. given a chance would love to play here again...

Beautiful place to play cricket match. Pitch is slow and less bounce. Boundaries are difficult to get as ground is slightly on the slower side.

A very nice lush green field which is properly maintained consisting net practice and a proper pitch. There is also a plaform for pavilion. Different tournaments held here frequently.
