Good place for south indian dishes. We ordered ghee dosa, pav bhaji and filter coffee. Dosa was delicious and pav bhaji was good too. Coffee was nice. Place was small. You have to wait for seat. Price was reasonable. Overall 9/10.

POV: Found a lil’ slice of South in Guwahati 🥥🍃 The Vibe Check: First off, the location is a whole mood. It’s roadside with this immaculate breezy atmosphere. Plus, the red signage against the greenery? Aesthetic. 📸 The Food: Classic Idli (3 pcs) - ₹105 Let’s talk taste. For Guwahati standards? This is a big W. 🙌 The Idlis: Solid. They were soft, but if we’re comparing them to OG South India levels? A little "mid" on the fluffiness scale. Could be softer, no cap. The Sides: Chutney was hitting the spot. The Sambar tasted fire 🌶️ but the quantity was a bit less. I needed more! Presentation: They serve it on those eco-friendly leaf plates with a wooden spoon. We love a sustainable queen. 🌿 Verdict: Is it the most authentic South Indian food ever? Maybe not quite there yet. But for Guwahati, it’s definitely one of the best options. TL;DR: Great breeze, good food, aesthetic plates. 10/10 would recommend for a quick bite. Recommended? Absolutely YES. ✅

Upsouth in Guwahati is a delightful spot for anyone craving authentic South Indian flavors, and my recent visit made me an instant fan. Their masala dosa truly deserves all the praise it gets—crispy on the outside, perfectly soft inside, and generously filled. The aroma hits you even before the plate reaches the table, and the accompanying chutneys and sambar elevate the whole experience. It’s the kind of dosa that makes you pause after the first bite just to appreciate how good it is. And then there’s the filter coffee—strong, smooth, and beautifully balanced. It has that classic South Indian richness with just the right froth on top. It’s the perfect finish to the meal, comforting and energizing at the same time. What made the experience even more memorable was the warmth of the service. Pranjal, the person over the counter, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. His polite manner, helpful suggestions, and genuine smile made us feel truly cared for. Good food leaves you satisfied, but good service leaves you happy—and thanks to Pranjal, we left with both. Overall, Upsouth Guwahati is a must-visit for dosa and filter coffee lovers, made even better by exceptional hospitality.

UpSouth South Indian Café is a great place to start your morning. I had a dosa along with their coffee, and both were fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. The café has a pleasant morning vibe, and its location beside GS Road makes it convenient and easy to access. What truly stood out was the service—Mangal was exceptionally attentive and warm, making the experience even better. Overall, a relaxed spot with good food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere that I would happily visit again.
