Visited this place during my cycling ride. The route is peaceful, and the surroundings are clean. Good spot to take a short break and enjoy the natural view.

Awesome place for relax in the lap of mother Nature. Moreover there is ancient temple of lord Ganesha.. within two huge rock. Anyone can go inside the rock cave but need some precautions as there is no light and rocks are bit slippery. If you pay some πŸ’° you can enjoy the boat ride.. It has different views in different seasons but best time to go in winter.so guys please come and enjoy the mother Nature's Beauty.

A very big picnic ground, due to the drying of the brahmaputra during tne winters, awesome place to enjoy, and also has a temple created in the shape of a elephant naturally... ans the most beautiful is the sunset during the winters

Absolutely love this picnic spot! Sunset timing looks the best, do visit with your loved ones, for parking area you have to pay, get plenty of tents and empty area where you can do your picnic, however there is grass land and other part doesn't have grasses, just dry soil, kindly everyone follow SOP, lastly do bring your tent clothes and dark color carpet.

One of the more famous picnic spots, and HATISHILA GANESH mandir, which has a natural huge rock formation, like the snout of an elephant, hence the name "Hati"and "shila" which translates to elephant and rock, a Sacred Temple of Lord Ganesha, a must visit for young and old alike.
