Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Polo Ground)

JN Stadium Shillong is a good stadium with plastic folding chairs. Watched inaugural Durand Cup Football match 2025 here. Parking area is approx 100-300 mtrs away but has issue of water logging/slush in rainy season as its a ground. Max area of the stadium is open without any overhead cover. The arrangements for entry and exit were good.

I recently visited Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Polo Ground, Meghalaya, to watch an exciting football match between NEUFC and Bengaluru, and the experience was absolutely amazing! The vendors around the stadium had a good selection of snacks and refreshments, making the experience even more enjoyable. The lush greenery surrounding the Polo Ground adds to the charm, making it one of the most beautiful football venues in India. Watching a match here is not just about football; it’s about experiencing the pure love for the sport in the heart of Meghalaya. It is good stadium 🏟️ to watch match like northeast Derby NUFC vs SLFC

Difficult place to reach during events and if your there to watch football then let me tell you its not worth it the seats are far off from the playing field . You can't even see the players faces .

It was the best stadium in Shillong. But one thing I don't like are the seats that are far away from the field because of a race track.

Watched two matches during the Durand Cup. The hype is real during big games! The light show during half time at one of the games was pretty cool too.
