ZERO Star Unfortunately, this outlet has been a repeated disappointment. The sweets almost always feel dry and old, lacking any freshness—often seeming baasi. Even items like dhokla are poorly packed: they use only a paper box without any plastic lining at the bottom, so by the time it reaches home, the liquid leaks out, soaking the box and mixing with other items bought. Most sweets here feel dry, and the samosa stuffing is unusually dark, which raises concerns about freshness. It genuinely feels like items are prepared very early in the morning and sold throughout the entire day, or that leftover/secondary items are being sold at this particular outlet while fresher stock goes to their other branches. The staff behavior is another issue—they often seem unhappy and uninterested, as if they are forced to sit at this shop, which makes the overall experience uncomfortable. After multiple visits, I am completely fed up with this outlet. It honestly feels like this location needs a complete reset or replacement. Much better options are available nearby—try sweet shops towards Hengrabari road, Doldop, or Govindam (new outlet near Walford) for better quality and freshness.

One of the best sweets shop in Guwahati. Located in the Ganeshguri. You will get variety of mouth watering sweets..though the sweet shop is very small in size and it get crowded. Quality wise sweets are top most..a must visit shop for sweet lovers.

Have been taking their sweets to almost every occasion but very disappointed today to see hair in one of their gulab jamuns that my 3 year old nephew was eating! Look into your hygiene!!!!!

Makhon Bhog is a brand in Guwahati. Bought samosa from their shop it was worst than our local Sweet shop. Price - Higher Side Quality - Bad Customer-Sad

Makhan Bhog is a must-visit in Guwahati! I’ve been there multiple times and loved their delicious North and South Indian dishes. Their sweets are a treat—fresh, flavorful, and irresistible. A perfect spot for a satisfying meal and dessert indulgence!

Went there to buy sweets and had a absolutely horrendous experience. The man who was attending to my order started packing sweets with his bare hands which had specks of dirt on them. Upon inquiry, he was unresponsive and came back with a spoon. Price is definitely not moderate. Came back and realised they packed the wrong ones which were cheaper than the ones I paid for. Never going back again. Didn't expect this from MakhanBhog.

Very costly, no difference in the quality of their sweets and the ones in the road side shop. Only brand name rises the price, better buy sweets from normal sweet shop, rather spending to much of your hard earned money. Gracious
