Came for breakfast here. Tried the samosa for Rs. 12, cutlet for Rs. 12, paratha and chanar jelabi for Rs. 25. Samosa and cutlet were good in taste. Paratha tasted average. Its sabji was a tad bit under-seasoned. The chanar jelabi was soft and tasty. The service was commendable. Recommended.

Mistimukh truly lives up to its name — every bite brings a smile! It’s one of the finest sweet shops around, offering a wide range of delicious and freshly prepared sweets that taste just like homemade. From traditional Bengali classics to modern desserts, everything here is made with care, purity, and perfect sweetness. Their rosogolla, sandesh, rasmalai, and mishti doi are absolutely top-notch — soft, fresh, and bursting with flavor. They also serve chomchom, rajbhog, kalakand, and barfi, all of which are perfectly balanced and never overly sweet. You can really taste the freshness and quality in every item. The shop maintains excellent hygiene and cleanliness, and the staff are polite, welcoming, and efficient. Whether you’re buying a few sweets for home or placing a bulk order for a function or festival, they handle everything smoothly and with great care. The prices are reasonable, and the quality is consistently superb — making Mistimukh a favorite spot for sweet lovers of all ages. If you’re looking for authentic Bengali sweets made with love and tradition, Mistimukh is the place to go. Highly recommended — pure taste, great service, and always fresh! 🍬🍮

Amazing veg chop available at this place. Contains paneer, carrots ,peas, potatoes. No onion no garlic option is available too. The samosa is also very good at this place. The sweets at this place are the main attraction. Traditional bengali style sweets are available at this place. Service is prompt and you are served at the table. I would not recommend the tea at this place because it is a machine dispensed premix tea. No seating available at the place. It has standing tables. The place is clean. Has a small washbasin.

Stand and eat is the format of this restaurant. Though it was a huge and stand-alone brand in Guwahati some 15-16 years back, but I guess coming up of the Ulubari Flyover has killed it's popularity. The basic problem - NO Parking in and around. You have to risk your car/bike under the flyover. Though the quality of sweets and associated items is very good, however, lack of polularity and lack of footfall has decreased it's quality, what it was 10-15 years back. Not a huge crowd puller, but still communation of the people serving there is humble and good.
