When one is in Guwahati, she/ they/ he must try out the Lassi at Sharma Sweets House. Light, moderately sweet, and extremely delicious - the Lassi at this place has its own characteristics. My partner and I visited this place the day before yesterday (Tuesday - June 24, 2025) and had its signature Lassi. Additionally, my partner also had a sweet item. She was ecstatic over it. The only problem is the location of the place. At times, it is kind of difficult to reach the place subject to its very crowded nature. However, we shall again visit it!

One of the best sweet shops I’ve found! I tried almost 8–10 different items here, and every single one was excellent in both taste and quantity. The quality is consistently great, and you really get value for money. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic, delicious desserts!

I visited this place because of its old reputation. Worst taste, cold food, worst service. Owner only interested in collecting money and sits in cash area. No one to look how customers are being served. . There are 6-7 people in the front area to collect cash but everyone refused to take order. They specifically told me that orders will only be taken only by a waiter. Took me 30-40 mins to find a waiter. In the mean time I could see a frustrated customer leaving as he could not find a waiter to even place his order. Finally I ordered and when the food was server, it was icey-cold. I asked the waiter and he told me that since it takes time to heat food so he served cold food. He did me a favour serving cold food. The hotel is getting customers only because of old reputation.

A bit costly, one samosa costs Rs.18 and the taste is also not good. (Many other well known shops in nearby areas sales samosa in 12-14 rupees). The price of sweets are also high. And the staff's response was not good.
