Finally, an authentic sweet shop with real taste in the Beltola area with a variety of chaats and snacks. We tried hot jalebis, pyaazi kachori and somosas and few mithais. All were delicious, highly recommend this place. Same old Sharma Sweets of Fancy Bazar now in Wireless Beltola.

Really disappointing experience, Food quality was far below expectations—both the patties and samosas were excessively salty, making them nearly inedible. On top of that, the tea was overly sweet, which just added to the frustration. To make matters worse, the prices are way too high for such poor quality. I was hoping for a decent snack, but this place didn’t deliver at all. Wouldn’t recommend it unless they improve their standards

Ordered a few items on the afternoon of 18th. January 2025. Masala Dosa, Papri Chaat, Pav Bhaji - one plate each. The order was fulfilled by Zomato. This is my review of the food. The Masala Dosa had the minimum quantity of insipid masala filling. It was accompanied by two teaspoons of watery coconut chutney, a red chutney and a very diluted sambar which only had pieces of radish and papaya. It was inedible after a couple of bites. The dosa seems to have been left in the open for a few hours as it was extremely stretchy and chewy. It tasted nothing like a dosa and it was definitely one of the worst dosas that I have ever had. Trust me, at my age and stage in life, I've had quite a few dosas in India and abroad. The Pav Bhaji buns were best eaten by themselves as the Bhaji was an unappetising dark brown mash. It was overcooked to the consistency of cheese spread. I couldn't spot or taste any coriander leaves, chopped onions, lemon slices, etc. It had an overpowering small of garam masala. The Papri Chaat was a soggy mess. Even roadside vendors have the brains to pack the papri separately from the chaat to avoid inconveniencing the customer. That apart, this dish too was a disappointment in taste. I have had far better served to me by a vendor with a cart at the Beltola Bazar crossing - at a much more economical price. I am not trying to find faults here, however, I fail to understand how an establishment can dish out such poor quality of food at such prices? What beats me is the outlet has very high ratings on food delivery apps. How is that possible? Do they serve two different qualities of cuisine for those dine in and those who rely on deliveries? Or was today just a bad day? Definitely my first and last experience of Sharma Sweets house. Sadly, hard earned ₹464/- ended up in the garbage bin. I HATE wasting food!

ordered the masala dosa, but the aloo masala had an unpleasant smell, indicating it was not fresh. Additionally, the dahi aloo chaat I ordered had a hair in it, which was extremely off-putting. The hygiene and food quality at this establishment are clearly lacking. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to others.

The Chole Bhatura they serves is excellent, probably one of the best in Guwahati. Sweets here are also of best quality. Always a pleasure to eat here.
