Assam On Wheels

We came to know about Assam on wheels from one of my friends , as per their suggestion we decided to book our trip to meghalaya with assam in wheels. We are a family of 3 (myself, wife and 3 years old kid) booked 6 days tour package with AOW. Prior to one day they have assigned us the driver whose name is Joydeb Das. A humble and honest human being he was. He took us from Guwahati airport to shillong, Cherrapunjee and all other places according to my plan. He also suggested some good places and guided us through out the trip. He also helped us with hotel bookings as we did not book all nights. He is a gem of a driver . Very professional and polite. We made him wait at times but never got irritated. If anyone planning to book any north east trips I would suggest to consider Assam on wheels and if possible Joydeb Das as driver. Cheers guys. Ive come to know about this company while searching for a tour operator for my Meghalaya Trip. I opted for a 4 night 5 days package for Meghalaya from\to Guwahati Airport. The first thing I want to say is : a 100% profressional organization. Its not like you are talking or communicating to a standalone Car Owner or Driver where you have to bargain a lot and ultimately come to a conclusion on your deal compromising days or spots or money. No - its not like that. Assam on Wheels has a website and the rates and the trips are mentioned in there with great detail. You just have to pick the suitable ones. The phone number present there is Active and the owner answers it very promptly with guidance. I chatted with him over whatsapp and he guided me and arranged for our 4 Night 5 Days package for Meghalaya. I paid the booking amout over their website and paid the balance amount in Cash to the Driver during the trip. We got an innova and the driver Samol was really good. Safe driving with patience and everything was on time. The car stayed with us for 5 days and covered each spot mentioned in the itinerary. It was hassle free and professional. We didnt have to do anything except visitng the places and enjoy. Payment Mode: Flexible and no hidden cost Professionalism: Probably the best one in the region Pick\Drop: Airport to Airport OR you can provide any location enroute Spot Selection and Visiting: Really Impressive Itinerary with Flex hours One more thing I want to specify is: for these kinds of full day sight seeing trips, the pit stops for Breakfast-Lunch are the most important ones -- the driver took us to the retaurants of our food preference and they were elegant\really good but not too much expensive. Definitely thoese were not typical road side cheap Dhabas where you have to compromise with the food. If I come back to these North East States again - I would definitely choose this company for my travelling.

I had come to Guhawati solo and made a plan of going to Shillong and Cherrapunjee at the last moment. I was scared on how the trip might go. I had contacted Assam on wheels at around 8.30 pm and they confirmed my booking and assigned Joydeb Das. He came exactly at 5.15 am as per trip plan and he was more of a friend. He suggested me very beautiful places and covered maximum places in a very short time. He has a great photographic skills and he captured most of my pics with perfection. All Thanks to Joydeb Das and Assam on wheels. I had a great memorable Solo trip.
