I visited the Buddhist Monastery (বৌদ্ধ বিহাৰ) yesterday, and while it was a rewarding experience, it definitely left me with mixed impressions. The most striking part of the visit was undoubtedly the view from above; the vantage point offers a stunning, panoramic perspective that feels incredibly peaceful and makes the climb well worth the effort. However, it’s hard not to notice that the site is not well maintained, with several areas showing signs of neglect that detract from the overall beauty of the architecture. I’ve rated it a 4/5 because the spiritual atmosphere and the breathtaking scenery still manage to outweigh the lack of upkeep, making it a place I’d recommend for the views alone, even if the facilities themselves could use some serious attention.

This Buddhist temple is set on a hill covered with greenery and as such offers a peaceful ambience. On entering the temple, one feels the presence of the supreme power and the feeling of a positive vibe. Enjoyed the peaceful and serene environment prevailing in the area.

A lovely place with a sad past, made worse by the public. The founder CS Lama who established this centre of peace by the hillock and did welfare works was murdered in her sleep.... But the natural beauty and the view is good....
