IIT Guwahati Post Office

It is very near to IIT Guwahati outside the gate from here the students of IIT Guwahati can book railway ticket as well as send post it is a very small place and financial transaction are done only up till 2 O'clock it is easily available and easily visible when you enter it got it from the amingaon side

The worst post office service especially the spectacle uncle who is so annoying he will make us stand for 30-40 minutes even tho there is no customer and when you ask him if it is right time to courier he will not respond he will stare you like anything. And after making me wait for so long he rudely said 2 baje ka baat kuch parcel nai lega kal ana (note I reached the post office at 1:30pm)…

Being inside the IIT Guwahati campus it is the only source bu which you can send your posts. The staff here is polite and they also book railway tickets for you. Facility of speed post is also available here.

The timings are a lie. Google says they are open till 5, but they operate only till 2 and conveniently say that it is 'office hours' till 5, TF does that mean even. I would frankly like to give just one-fourth of a star.

A branch of India post inside the IIT campus. People can book their shipments and send stuffs via speed post.
