Kotiling Shiv Temple

Visited on this Maha Shivratri the Kotiling Shiv Temple in Kamakhya, Guwahati, which is a part of the Kamakhya Panchapitha, as described in the Yogini Tantra. It's a Cave Temple with a Shiva lingam, surrounded by images of Lord Ganesh. The temple's unique location on Nilachal Hill, overlooking the Brahmaputra River, creates a serene atmosphere perfect for spiritual reflection.

One of the best place to meditate and also it has approximately 300 stairs which you've to go through to reach the Mandir.

Before provide any kind of review I want to say that place is not a commercial place or a commercial Temple only the people who think God beyond religion or god is a spiritual thing or such kind only they should visit this Temple. God is nature god is beyond your imagination or your thoughts if you agree this point only then you should visit these sacred place

A local temple with approximately 600 steps to walk down to see lord shiva residing in a cave. Drop your footwear along with socks before entering into this temple. No crowd at all as it needs a bit of trekking. A blissfull nature view can bee seen from here Note: There is also a ganesh temple on the banks of brahmaputra river and you need to take 600 more steps to visit this temple.
