place from where you can go to umananda island by boat… journey is ariund 15 minutes to the island… 2 types of boats are there one is govt which costs 40 rupees to and from to the island while the other ticket is govt boat which costa 200 rupees per person to go and come back .. every half n hr you have boats to reach the island…. after going there you can come back through any boat… there is nothing special in private in private boats although it costs more….

It is not worth to pay Rs 200 for this private boat ride. No staff bother to manage crowd in and out from boat ride. Not enough seats within boat and have to stand in the crowd though boat ride to Umanand temple is just 10 mins. Within boat one of the entrainment singing song was good. The singer voice is very good Overall I would not recommend this boat ride if you are tourist and need comfort ride

Online people have mentioned that ferry ticket to Umanand Bhairav cost Rs 20/- but here they insist for Rs 200/- that too in cash.

total waste of money... Rates of a cruise (Rs.250) and it is operated like a ferry service to Umananda island...they make people deboard off at Umananda....if you take the ferry, the same trip will cost just Rs. 3.. the time was delayed by more than half hour and we missed the sunset time... by the time we reach the island it was pitch dark there...people had to go up with their own mobile torches which is a very BAD time to go to umananda island. when some of us insisted on the cruise instead of island, they simply took the boat a few feet away from the island and stalled the engine without going further...And go back to island to pick up the dropped off passengers.. and given the timing was so late and everything so dark, no sightseeing was anyway possible even on the river.... when we enquired on phone earlier they said there is a restaurant on board but there was no restaurant.. total waste of money and time... instead of this the LOCAL FERRY SERVIVlCE is much better....it is right on time and the employees come and give life jacket to each and everyone on the boat...Zero value addition taking this cruise...

Worst services... Mislead the tourist... Taking 5 times more amount for the same boat taking to Umannaedshawar temple. When asked the ladies siting on counter started arguing. Pathetic people, pathetic behaviour.

The ticket price to Umananda Temple costed Rs. 200 per person up-down! Which is way too much for the distance they are traveling..!

Good service, but they are expensive comparing the govt cruise for the same service to Umananda temple.
