Gokul Sweets

Gokul sweets is a very famous food joint in Beltola. I went there to and ordered Masala dosa which is 100 rps and veg momos price is 60 rps. Veg momos are really soo tasty filled with cheese and paneer. Super spicy chatni and soft soft momos. I love the food. They have hug varieties of namkeen and sweets. Evening time is little bit of rush.Clean place.

It is one of the sweetmeat shop in a chain of sweetmeat shops of the same name (Gokul Sweets) spread across Guwahati city. Good quality sweets are available and quite popular brand in the city.

Love the bundiya and mihidana from there. Good place to have tea and snacks of you visiting that side. The kachori is also very good to have.The channa sweets is a must try as well.

Some of the sweets are good and so also some of the salty ones including their Aloo Bonda which needs special mention. The owner is well behaved and so also the persons behind the sweets and snacks counter but the chaiwalla and dosawalla needs to be trained to be more polite. Over all the sweetshop is good but needs to be tidied up for maintaining hyegene

Zero hygeine. You can see cockroaches roaming begind their chat counter and open drain behind it. Their food is generally kept open. The chutney for dosa was open and kept in a shelf beneath and that place looked shitty. They care a damn about cleanliness standards

Good: Great taste and quality sweets and snacks available at competitive price range. Their masala dosa is really has wow factor. Never tried the pani puris/gol gappas but as per the feedback from others, its really tasty. Bad: Space. Cleanliness. + Guwahati has a serious parking problem, so is this place. There is no dedicated parking, road side at you own risk. Specially for 4 wheelers its a headache. Specially during the evening rush hours.

A very famous food joint. Almost like Govindam, but affordable one. They serve chaats, some fast foods, sweets and tea. They have veriety of sweets. Every item tastes good. Must visit once!

This place is great for a quick bite.They provide fresh indian snacks.There are also wide range of indian sweets here.They also have pani puri counter.
