Dr Rajeev TP M.Ch (AIIMS) H.O.D. Dept Of Urology GMCH (Medicity Guwahati)

This doctor ruined my life. It was Feb 2008. I had a birth defect called hypospadias which require surgery. Back then he used to consult in Aruna Memorial Hospital in Rajgarh. My gullible parents consulted him and got ready for surgery. I was 12 yrs old then. Surgery is successfully according to him but my recovery period took 2 months after which my condition remained the same. It's been so many yrs and I cannot forget the trauma, the pain, humiliation that I faced. Now I cannot even get a normal catheter insertion done. He wrecked my private part.

Dr. Rajeev tp might be good with operation and other things ( I am not sure whether he is good or not ). But I don't think he is good at diagnosing any problems. I had taken treatment for 2 months for the disease I didn't have . When my symptoms got worse I again visited him. So he prescribed all the medicines he knew. End result is I vomited 3 times with lots of blood last time, even though I am not allergic to any medicines. Everything got worse and I had marie weiss syndrome as bonus for visiting him. The funniest part here is, when I consulted another urologist through online I came to know that he treated me for the disease I didn't have. Unless you wanna through your money and peace in the dustbin, don't go to him.

Bad experience. Doctors fees is not proportionate to the time and treatment given by the doctor. He does not have time to hear to the problem of the patient and takes down the problems of the patient incorrectly. He just writes his prescription and immediately sends the file to the reception without even showing the patient what he has written or what tests he has given. The reception people are only interested in the money without telling the patient what test or treatment has been recommended by the doctor.

Very worst doctor. He might be Gold medalist in theory but practically he has no experience of diagnosing patient. He says to perform test in medicity otherwise he won't see any report of other laboratories. I did all test after doing all test I went to him. After seeing all reports he said to get operation. What a poor doctor he doesn't even gave any medicines for treatment. He just want money by performing surgery and doesn't guarantee its success. He says that operation is not guaranteed. How can this people get job in GMCH. After that we went to Mr PK Bagchi sir he said its a minor issue Grade 1 prostate problem doesn't require any Surgery. He gave medicines. Now everything is good. I request everyone donot go this doctor there are many good urologist in town. Consult them.

Very worst doctor of Guwahati Town as he dont know how to behave with patient. Very rude behavior. Staying in Medicity and always says to do test from Medicity itself. After seeing all report he will always suggest for surgery. He doesn't look at the age of patient whether he/she could undergo successful surgery or not. He want operation. He will not give any medicine. Rather he will confuse you and will create a fear in your mind. Do not visit his place. This doctor should be terminated from GMCH. Always go to Mr P K Bagchi best urologist of Guwahati. His medicine is excellent and always gives guarantee of his treatment. He will never undergo any surgery unless it is critical.

Extremely unprofessional and poor attitude shown by doctor. He kept us waiting for 2 hours and then did not even check on patient on entering chambers. He asked patient to describe issue and then asked to perform some test. Even patient history was not looked at. Better go for video consultation if you are not willing to come near patient. Request every patient to discard this pathetic sham of a doctor.

I would rate him 2/10 A professional service provider should be 'professional' and behavior is one of the basic attributes. Dr. Rajeev might have a brilliant academic career but when it comes to patient support, I am doubtful. I had a consultation for rUTI. Firstly, the consultation fee was very high. Secondly in his pursuit of maintaining social distance he sat far beyond the reach of a patient. Examining a patient physically is out of context here. He could have chosen online consultation instead. That would make sense. Third, his way of interaction is pathetic. At least listen what a patient has to say. Lekin time kaha hai! We are paying for service so at least a service provider especially a healthcare professional should be compassionate. Fourth, the prescribed medicines were very very expensive. Luckily I have decided to take a second opinion and consulted with Dr. Brojen Barman - Health City, arguably the best urologist in Guwahati

Narcissistic, Megalomaniac, Bitter old man.....Sharma should join "Bajrang dal"... because he is best in moral policing....worst doctor ever ...very unprofessional..... please don't waste your time and money by going to this sham .....he is the reason why people don't trust doctors anymore... He should not be allowed to practice ... medicine...he gave me unnecessary tons of tests ..like Bt/Ct, Hb level ..worth 10k unnecessary to my condition ...
