Government livestock farm, Khanapara under Animal Husbandry and veterinary department, Assam was established by the British in the year 1926. The farm was established as one of the best instructional cum demonstration unit to pertain training and capacity building of the farmers, entrepreneurs and internees of College of Veterinary Science of Assam Agriculture University, Khanapara, Guwahati. The Farm is providing pure and wholesome milk to the consumers.
