One of the most beautiful inherited luxurious bungalows in middle of forests and tea estates. They have different bungalow stays and we stayed in golden top. Rooms were beautifully done. Service was top notch. Food was simple yet amazing . Musical night and bonfire was just perfect. Morning walk trails and soo fresh air. Very clean and well maintained. Best part was all locals were trained and given work, and they delivered top class hospitality. A home away from home. Near by must visit kaziranga national Park. Must visit and we would come back soon

A time capsule for a lost age. Comfortable, elegant and indulgent. Stay at the burra bungalow.||Evening tea, explore the plantation and many many more great experiences.

This is an amazing place ! We were a party of four people and booked three rooms for three nights at Wild Mahseer. The owners of this estate have done an incredible job , the managers, Mr & Mrs Saraswat have set standards at the highest level possible. The food is excellent as well ! Strongly recommended!

Very arrogant & discourteous staff. Their behavious is so unwelcoming, as if walk-in guests are a great burden. As far as food is concerned, most normal food with average taste and very limted options..

Charming stay. Very relaxing and beautiful location. Made to feel very welcome by the staff and management. Really enjoyed the food which was good home-style cooking. Evenings were fun as there was always a mini party or event there when we stayed. The management made you feel very welcome and involved you in the evening events. Most of the bungalows have been updated and I would recommend you stay at one of the updated ones. The one we stayed in also had a communal living/dining room which had some wonderful furniture and was a nice environment for some RnR. |Would highly recommend you come here for a lovely relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Wild Mahseer in Balipara, Sonitpur, is a serene 22- acre retreat that combines heritage, nature, and luxury. The British-style tea bungalow and charming cottages transport you back in time, surrounded by majestic old trees and tranquil beauty. Our stay was luxurious, with impeccable hospitality making it even more memorable. The food, though featuring a modest spread, was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. It's a perfect destination for families, offering peace and a unique experience far from city life. While the food variety could be expanded, the overall ambiance and charm make Wild Mahseer a highly recommended getaway for relaxation and history enthusiasts

We were 3 couples and we stayed at the Wild Masheer for one night. We were returning from Arunachal and heading to Guwahati.||We stayed at one of the tea bungalows. The bungalow was grand, had exquisite furniture and huge well appointed rooms. The bathroom was luxurious. ||The bungalow had 2 living rooms and a dinning room. Meals are not served in the bungalow. Each bungalow has an attentive staff that takes care of the needs of the guests including preparing tea and coffee. ||The food served at the dinning pavillion was tasty and freshly cooked. The ambience in the pavillion was beautiful and relaxing. The doors open into a garden area where a bonfire is lit every evening. ||Mr. Saikia took us on a tour of the Burra Bungalow. It was absolutely stunning with innumberable artefacts, exquisite furniture, enormous beautifully appointed bedrooms and bathroom and large verandahs. ||I would recommend doing the nature walk, tea garden walk and visiting the Burra Bungalow. ||The entire property is charming, colonial and verdant. This is definitely a place where I would recommend staying for 2 nights to unwind, relax and slow down. ||The only downside we experienced was the approach to the property. We were headed there on a Saturday afternoon and the approach was completely blocked by the weekly market that was sprawled over a large area including the approach road. We took more than an hour to cover a distance of 750 meters. A frustrating experience. ||I would also suggest putting up clear signage leading to the property.

A beautiful heritage property set in a lovely area surrounded by tea plantations. Five of us stayed here and had a great time. ||The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place.
