Fabindia, GS Road, Guwahati

Terrible experience. On January 29, 2026, I went to the store to exchange a product that I had bought from them. The said product bought from the GS Road store could not be exchanged at another store because of some code error. On mentioning this and asking about it, the guy present did not cooperate, but instead raised his voice while speaking to me. On asking him to speak properly, he got defensive. I have been a loyal Fabindia customer since 2007. Never have I faced horrid behaviour. I did not even exchange my product. Just left it at the store. Not coming back to this store ever.

As the name suggests Fabindia is an absolutely fabulous brand for ethnic wears. This store always keep the best of best collections and the service is great. Their employees are very obedient and the owner too.. The owner is very gentle yet very friendly woman i hav ever came across... She roams around the store just to make sure that customers are not facing any problem. Excellent collection!

Very nice collection and excellent staff. Its fun to shop here for khadi or linen cloths irrespective of gender.

Beautifully maintained store. Very good collection, helpful staff with a good understanding of what customer wants and cordial and friendly owner.

Great decor but collection is average

Pros: Very good collection. Good ambiance Customer friendly support staff. Parking space available. Cons: All sizes are not available. Comfortable setting facility for senior citizens are not available. No in-house wash room.

Horrible horrible experience!!! I’ve been shopping in FabIndia stores all across the country for over a decade now. This store doesn’t come across a part of the fabindia family. The person at the counter is so unprofessional and crass. Apart from their collection, what stands out at a fabindia store is their behaviour. This guy refused an exchange, lied to me, misbehaved and was disgustingly unprofessional. I then went to zoo road fabindia store and got the right treatment. This person forgot that he is representing fabindia and not some local store. Anyone wishing to go here, don’t. Go to zoo road fabindia store which is closeby. Don’t go here. Sick sick sick person!

If you have been to any Fabindia store, you already know about the vibe. Not just apparels, this store has home decoration products, tea, perfume, crockery, fashion accessories, fragrances, pickles and jams etc. also. Only negative side is you need to climb stairs as it is on the first floor and there's no lift.
