Manokamana Tailoring and Boutique.

Extremely unprofessional service. This place is nothing more than Instagram hype. I gave my mekhela sador in October with a promised delivery in December. They charged me Almost 13k . Despite repeatedly reminding them on WhatsApp not to delay, there was no proper response. Before going to collect my order, I tried calling multiple times, but none of my calls were answered. When I finally visited, even after the delivery date had already passed, they had just started stitching my outfit. I had to waste two entire days—waiting there for a full day just to get the work done. Even then, the final result was disappointing. The fitting was completely incorrect and still not properly fixed. What makes this worse is that people pay such high prices, only to waste their time and receive poorly fitted outfits—such a huge disappointment. I have stitched many blouses with different tailors, and fitting has never been an issue before. They showcase perfection on Instagram, but the reality is far from it. If they cannot manage timely deliveries, they should not take so many orders—especially when it involves people’s special occasions and high hopes. My only mistake was not checking the reviews before going there.

My experience with Manokamana Tailoring was profoundly disappointing and a complete waste of time and money. The charming, professional persona displayed by the shop owner/staff in their online videos is completely different from reality. In person, the service was marked by consistently rude and unprofessional behavior. Most critically, the tailoring itself was awful. The stitching was poor, and the final garment was a significant non-fitting disaster. Furthermore, the delivery took over four months—an unacceptable delay for bespoke work. If you value quality, timely service, or common courtesy, look elsewhere. Do not be fooled by their online marketing.

Worst experience ever. The entire team along with the owner is unprofessional. They took our order around more then 1.5 months earlier promising to deliver within time, however to our utter shock when we went to get the delivery we found that they haven't started any work on the items. The order was very important for us as we had a family function and my wife wanted the items for that occasion. Then they said we would finish all the work within one day, and later on the items that they delivered were not at all of any good quality. The designs were messed up and fittings were also not good. Moreover behaviour wise they were very rude and didn't even had decency to accept their fault. I would rate negatively. I would request customers to avoid these boutique. They make insta videos and fail to deliver services to customers after taking the money.

3rd class owner. Don't fall for their Instagram hype. They don't know how to behave with the customers. Extremely rude, unprofessional and mannerless. 3rd class service. Their downfall is near. I feel like slapping them right on their face. Disgusting!!! There are far better boutiques/tailors in Guwahati.

They have ruined my wedding outfit. Muga & pat blouse that I was supposed to wear on my wedding. The fitting was horrible. It felt like I was wearing someone else's blouse. They charged 1500 rupees for padded blouse & 750 for non padded & they ruined my blouse. They only show design but the fitting was horrible. They have made a bride see the worst day possible that too with a muga blouse.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with this shop. The tailor is not only skilled but also very professional and positive. She always delivers exactly what she promises, on time. Her work is neat, fits perfectly, and shows great attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone looking for trustworthy and high-quality tailoring services!

They are super rude! Have to wait months for a simple blouse to get stitched and only focused on fake Instagram videos. Beware of such cons

I’ve had an amazing experience getting my outfits stitched by Aunty for the past 8 to 9 years. Her stitching is absolutely perfect, and every outfit fits beautifully. She pays great attention to detail and always delivers the best results. Highly recommended!
