Nice restaurant with a unique traditional touch. The food is served in brass utensils, and the bamboo chairs add to the authentic ambiance. The overall atmosphere feels different and refreshing. We tried the Assamese fish thali. While I did not particularly like a few of the dishes in the thali, the overall taste was good, if not exceptional.

I visited Bor Luit (বৰ লুইত) for lunch yesterday, and frankly, it was a very disappointing experience. We ordered chicken noodles, a chicken broiler thali, and a fish thali, but none of the dishes hit the mark. The chicken noodles were surprisingly sweet—they seemed to have added a lot of sugar—and the accompanying chili sauce had a very weird, unappealing taste. While they served a massive heap of rice, the portions of the side dishes were quite stingy. To make matters worse, they didn't serve the aloo pitika with the thalis, claiming they had run out, yet they still charged us the full price for the meals. Between the lackluster flavors and the poor service regarding the missing items, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for an authentic or tasty meal.

Very poor service. Veg thali is fine not upto the mark but chicken curry is tasteless. Saltless. And they charge 450 for chicken with full of bones. The manager ia too arrogant.

Definitely one of the finest Assamese thalis I’ve had around anywhere in North Guwahati. The staff is genuinely humble and hospitable! They serve you in traditional bronze dinnerware. The thalis are totally worth the price. However, I found the Ala Carte Menu a little pricier than the usual local restaurants but the taste is absolutely worth it! Most of my family members have visited this multiple times and genuinely loved their servings.

Visited this place recently. Beautiful traditional Assamese interior with bamboo furniture and ceiling. Utensils used were traditional bell metal (kaahor baason). I had only the veg thali for 120/- and it was delicious. Each item on the thali was beautifully prepared. They also gave some chutneys with a very tasty fish pitika too. Only thing I would like to point out was the tv volume. They played some Assamese classics but the volume was way too loud. We requested them to lower the volume and they did, but still it was quite loud.

Absolute authentic assamese cuisine with no gimmicks. All the staffs are attentive and cater to your needs throughout. The food specially the thali is great with variety more than you expect. Absolute recommended

The pathetic chicken curry I have ever had.. fish sorsori was good, thali was also just ok if you don't have anything to eat then only you can have otherwise go for another restaurant. Look wise it's nice but have to improve the quality and taste of the food... we have ordered chilli chicken and mutton dry fry as startter both were same in taste..
