The place is so beautiful. The owners worked really hard to maintain this place. Food is at very low price and taste is sooooo good. Do visit once if you want to taste ethnic Assamese food. Highly recommended ✨ PS- Every Sunday there's a show organized by the owners, like magic show, afternoon adda (discussion) etc. If you want to enjoy those then contact them beforehand to know the schedule.

OT was one of the BEST dining experiences. Owner and Cook made our evening best. Owner is well informed and cook himself. We had plenty of questions regarding Assamese food, names etc. He helped us with all. I had one of my best Pork with local herbs. Fish fry was Ultimate. And Veg thali. Everything was very tasty. My wife wanted some veg dish she read about on Google.... It wasn't on Menu. Owner went out of the way to get ingredients and made it. That too was very Delicious. Overall it was one of our best dinners. I will definitely visit again and again.

One of the best and simple Assamese ethnic food destination. Very friendly staff, loved their behavior and attitude. Tasty and simple Assamese food, good place to have lunch and dinner. We had lunch, tried their special veg thali, it's good and full of healthy items. Highly recommend 👌 👍. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for food and staffs. -⭐ for the washbasin area, need little improvement. Will visit again.

There are three restaurants serving Assamese cuisine in the same premise and I’ve tried two of them so far. Dhowasang seems like the better one taste-wise. The food is homely and light on the stomach. I would recommend this place to anyone fond of homely Assamese cuisine that’s not too spicy.

Me and my wife went there for dinner. The place is having decent atmosphere. There is a scope for improvement in the layout. As concept is good. Food was great. We ordered Ethinic Chicken thali and Ethnic pork thali. Both the Chicken and pork gravy was freshly cooked. Want to give 5 stars on food. But owner should look into the matter of cleanliness of WashBasin, Toilet and sitting area. Rest all are good..

This is a beautiful place to be. The place hits home, right away. The food is amazing. I, specially, fell in love with the pork. It was cooked to perfection and was absolutely lovely. I'll go there just to have that pork again. The hospitality is amazing and they are genuinely trying to make your experience better.

• This place is location just opposite of Ambari Bus stop and in a prime location as State Museum, Ravindra Bhawan, Press club, Textile College are all in its vicinty. This makes the place easily accessible. • They serve traditional food with an ethnic ambience. Take your time to explore each and every element and you'll be left in wonder about their creativity and dedication. • The staff members and owner are hospitable. Washroom is clean and hygienic. • Price wise, it is affordable, especially in comparison to many ethnic restaurants that I've visited so far. • I ordered a Veg Thali for Rs.60 and Chicken Thali for Rs.150 as per the current menu (6th January, 2022) I'd rate it 5/5 because of the good experience.

A simple restaurant for trying out traditional Assamese cuisine. They have a limited menu which gives you a sense of home cooked food (not that I've had home cooked Assamese food but the flavours made me feel so). I tried their Karbi pork (which is pork cooked in black sesame seeds gravy) which was good. The place wasn't crowded despite being a weekend so service was optimal. Very basic ambience so don't expect too much!
