MA LAXMI RESTAURANT

I visited Guwahati for the second time and was lucky enough to discover this restaurant near Joynagar Charali. It has been a delightful experience! Ambiance: The place is quite spacious and open, with a nice interior. It has a seating capacity of around 35 people, making it comfortable to dine in. Food: They serve a great variety of cuisines ranging from authentic Assamese Thalis to Chinese and Punjabi dishes. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can get everything here at very reasonable prices. I ate here multiple times and absolutely loved the food. Service: The owner and the staff are extremely polite, friendly, and welcoming. Additional Facilities: They have clean and tidy hotel rooms available on the upper floor.on the upper floor. There is a fast food corner on the ground floor serving tea, coffee, pakoras, kebabs, mocktails, and various snacks. I highly recommend visiting this place if you are in the area! The first time i had tried Ma Laxmi Restaurant was with my family. We were all in hospital duty and were very hungry. went to this place, amazing food, affordable prices. Got my friends there the next time. Some were from Delhi, and wanted to try good Assamese food. So i requested them to serve us food in traditional Bell Metal plates and bowls, (they don't usually serve in that), and they delivered! Chicken/ Pork in Til and Mutton has been a big hit. 100/100 would recommend, very tasty food with refils at a great and affordable price. Limited menu, hence the taste is not compromised. Loved the warm service.

I went there two times till now and it was a great experience. The food was really good. I ordered pork thali(bamboo shoot) both times and it was delicious. The service was also good. The price is also really affordable..

Went to this shop to try as it seemed a new outlet. But the experience is third class. The boy in the outside making tea and things when i ordered some things like chicken leg piece and tea and when asked if i can go inside and sit ; he was such shameful to day no saying he had to go up to give the items so wanted me to sit outside for his convenience. Such behaviour is shocking and shameful. Owner must look into this as this kind of behaviour and service is nowadays shocking.

Variety of options are there in terms of assamese thali and other dishes. Tried the honey chilli potato, CCBC, and Chicken bharta... Overall experience is nice However very poor facility for toilet and bathroom.

Authentic and warming place . A family restaurant to have healthy and delicious recipes that carry our culture. One suggestion from my end To add on a unique recepie " Gahori with Tilor pat "

Everything was all good and the dishes were also delicious but oil was so prominent that reduced the focus of taste to health concern.

Great place with really affordable prices. Their chicken and pork thali is amazing, specially the til pork and so is the momo. You should definitely try it out if you are looking for Assamese cuisine.
