One of the best and most authentic thali places in all of Guwahati. They serve delicious, truly authentic Assamese thalis. The staff is very welcoming and the service is quite good. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the portion size and taste make it worth it. We tried the veg thali along with Assamese-style chicken and til pork, and both were delicious. Overall, it’s a nice family restaurant and a great spot for thali in Guwahati.

If you’re looking for authentic Assamese and tribal flavours in Guwahati, Mising Kitchen is a must-visit. The food tastes truly homely and traditional, especially the pork and fish dishes — full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Portions are generous and the quality is consistent. The place has a simple setup, but the taste more than makes up for it. Service is quick and the staff are polite and helpful. Overall, it’s great value for money and a perfect spot to experience real local cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone who loves traditional Assamese food. ❤️🍽️

This place might have good food and impressive hospitality but they’ve got zero crowd management skills, to see what I mean just try visiting the place during peak hours aka on a Saturday afternoon! We continued waiting while people who came after us were seated, all as a result of not having any rules in place for dealing with high footfall. Coming to the food, Fried smoked pork came with abundant fat pieces, lai xaak pork was okayish. Honestly, not returning anytime soon.

Visited on 28.12.2025 1. Ordered veg thali at Rs.190/- with chicken fry and mutton curry. 2. The best thing about their hospitality/service from warm welcome at the entry point to the lunch time, service person asked for serving food items every single time when they pass through the table. 3. Overall its a good place for traditional thali lover. 4. Road side park is available.

Saw positive reviews and went there for lunch. It was one of the best decisions of my life! Amazing food, for the lack of better words! Just loved it. One of the very best meals/thalis I have ever had in my life.. simple, uncomplicated, delicious meal. Loved every dish and the politeness of the staff too.

If you are hungry in Guwahati and you have a digestion issue, the safest bet would be ‘Mising Kitchen.’ On my recent personal trip to the Gateway to the Northeast, I made it a point to visit this gem of an ethnic eatery. On Monday (August 18, 2025), I went to to this place for my lunch. Without any confusion, I ordered the Fish Thali. All the items were tasty - especially the fish. Low on spices yet high on taste, this medium-sized restaurant is a foodie’s delight. This was my second visit to the eatery, and the third time does not seem too far away. Lovely work guys! Keep the spirit up!
