I visited Naga Kitchen with high expectations, but the experience was disappointing. I’m a big fan of Naga cuisine and enjoy it almost every month, often visiting different Naga restaurants. I ordered a pork thali, but it felt so incomplete it only came with plain rice, boiled vegetables in the plate. While pork with bambooshoot n the innards, dal which was so untasty. I don't know but for me I felt that the dishes were very less and bland compared to other naga restaurents. And the food did not match the price. I also ordered chicken liver chutney, but it was excessively spicy. I understand that naga food is known for its heat, but this was extreme. There were visibly more green chilies than liver, you may see it in the video, making it very difficult to eat comfortably. I just could eat 2-3 times. As someone who regularly enjoys Naga cuisine, I personally did not enjoy the meal. It was more disappointing and sad because I took my parents to have naga food for the first time but their first experience with the meal did not go well. Extra note: When I casually asked the staff why mashed potato was not included, I was told that I hadn’t ordered it. This was surprising, as mashed potato is generally a complimentary and standard item in most naga thalis that i have ate in ghy or even other Indian thalis, and customers usually don’t have to request it separately. Crazyyy!!! I will not visit there again.

As someone genuinely obsessed with Naga food, discovering Naga Kitchen in Guwahati has been an absolute delight. This place offers one of the most authentic Naga cuisine experiences you can find in the city. I’ve visited many times, and it never disappoints. The highlight for me is their fresh pork cooked with dry bamboo shoot — it’s supremely flavorful and cooked to perfection. Their Naga Thali is another must-try, offering a wholesome variety of traditional dishes that truly reflect the essence of Naga culinary heritage. I also highly recommend their Axone (fermented soybean) with chicken — the aroma and depth of flavor are simply amazing. While the pricing is slightly on the higher side, I find it completely justified given the top-notch quality and generous quantity of food served. The ingredients are fresh, and the authenticity of flavors stands out in every bite. Whether you’re already a fan of Naga cuisine or exploring it for the first time, Naga Kitchen is a place that should be on your list.

Slow service. Wait time was nearly 40-50 mins. However food was served hot. Tastewise it was average. Few items were totally bland and few were stomach burning spicy. Staffs were friendly and quick to respond. Atmosphere was clean .

The food is delicious! we ordered octopus, momos, prawns and rice. and the best one? butter garlic chicken hands down. it simply melted in my mouth. however the octopus did taste bitter but the other dishes were fantastic. the ambience is exceptional and service was quick!

..best place to dine in for Pork lovers. The place feels nostalgic. Their smoked pork with bamboo shoot is awesome, smoked chicken fry is my favourite. Staffs are friendly. Food is super delicious but overpriced. The place gets really hot and humid in summer as their standing Ac. is always in 28 degree(Not adjustable according to their staffs). When the sun rays hits the transparent glass room, the 28 degree ac. doesn't actually work.
