I recently tried the Smoked Pork with Axone Thali at Naga Kitchen and it was excellent. The pork was beautifully smoked, tender, and deeply flavourful — it genuinely transported me back to meals I’ve had in Nagaland. The thali comes with rice, boiled vegetables, and a chilli-based chutney. What stood out was how well the boiled vegetables balanced the dish — they mellowed the heat and richness of the dense, meaty pork and cut through the fattiness beautifully. With rice, it all comes together in a very satisfying, well-rounded way. The restaurant is located inside an apartment on the first floor. It’s a simple, homely setup with warm and welcoming service. It can be slightly tricky to find, so follow the location carefully and look out for the signage. If needed, give them a call — they’re helpful. Parking may also be a bit tight since it’s inside a narrow lane. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion size — definitely great value for money. They also have pickles, chocolates, and other items available for purchase. Overall, a hidden gem and a must-visit for authentic Naga flavours. Highly recommended.

Great place to enjoy Naga cuisine . If you live authentic then you should try this place . It’s run by a family ( beautiful souls) and they are so welcoming , friendly , knowledgeable and courteous. The portion size is great . Taste is perfect with good level of spiciness , the spiciness can be modified as per your preference. But , not in all dishes . Must try

We visited this place for lunch and were pleasantly surprised! It’s a clean, well-organised, home-style hotel run by an elderly lady and her family. The food is absolutely delicious. The prices might seem a bit on the higher side, but it’s totally worth it. The best part — once the food arrives, you won’t be looking around anymore because you’ll be too busy enjoying every bite! 😄😄

Loved the food and the hospitality. Thank you for keeping the spirit of home owned restaurants alive in the age of instagram trendy aesthetic cafes. I hope you'll have the Snail dishes available the next time I visit. Cheers!

Naga Kitchen really impressed me. The food was flavorful, well-balanced, and truly authentic to Naga cuisine and you can tell it’s made with care. I think the owner herself is from Nagaland, which probably explains how genuine everything tasted. The roasted beef was easily one of the best I’ve ever had, it was tender, smoky, and perfectly spiced. I also tried their chutney made from soya bean for the first time, and it was such a pleasant surprise that I even got some packed to take home. The only small downside is that the service can be a bit slow, likely because they’re short-staffed. But honestly, it’s worth the wait. The food speaks for itself, it's simple, comforting, and full of flavor.
