No wonder this place has 4.8 ratings, one of the best mughal cuisine restaurants in Guwahati and it's really affordable too. The biryani here isn't that much flavourful but it's good for people who don't like biryani too spicy. Rest the starters here are amazing, they can do better with garlic naan but still the curries, gravies and everything is extremely good. The wait time is less than 10 minutes. Ambience is not that decorative but it's still not bad.

One of Guwahati's top spots for biryani and rolls, this gem features a cozy, compact seating area paired with impressively efficient service. The Chicken or Mutton Matka Biryani is an absolute must-try. P.S. Rolls are available only after 5:30 PM

We had Butter Naan, Chicken Tikka Butter Masala, Chicken Dum Biryani, and Masala Coke. The Chicken Tikka Butter Masala and Naan combo, suggested by Google Review, was spot on. The Biryani was tasty, and they also provided unlimited biryani rice and raita. Here's how I'd rate the dishes: Chicken Tikka Butter Masala: 4.5/5 Butter Naan: 4/5 Chicken Dum Biryani: 3/5 Masala Coke: 4/5

We had a wonderful experience here! Ordered kebabs and biryani, both were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a really nice vibe—comfortable, welcoming, and perfect for hanging out. We were also pleasantly surprised with complimentary Coke, which added a thoughtful touch to the meal. Overall, great food, good service, and definitely a place I’d love to visit again. Highly recommended!

The food was so delicious that you can never resist. In starters, we ordered chicken malai kabab and it was the best decision we made. The tastiest kabab I ever had. In main course, we had butter naan, chicken kosha. I am in love with the butter naan. The fluffiest yet the best butter naan I have had. Chicken kosha was also very delicious. In beverage we had masala cold drink which was also very good in taste. Lastly in desert we had shahi tukra. There I had my disappointment. Though everything was so tasty I don't mind the shahi tukra. I personally didn't liked it but it was full of malai and badam. The staffs were also very well behaved and nice people. The owner I guess was so nice and polite. We visited for my husband's birthday and it was very worth it. Thank you so much for making the day special.

After reading many reviews/ recommendations, I have visited this place with my wife. We tried Plain Naan and Chicken Tandoori Butter Masala. Both the items are too good. Especially the Butter Masala item. I would definitely be visiting soon. Place is budget friendly too. Don't miss the Shahi Tukda.

Nizams did not disappoint. The starters were amazing, but the biriyani? Absolute show-stealer. Perfectly cooked rice, rich aroma, and that authentic spice level that hits just right. It was one of those plates where you don’t even want to share. The best part? The prices are super affordable for the quality you get. Great service, great food, great vibes. Highly recommended if you’re a biriyani lover.

Tried the afghani malai chicken for starters. Butter chicken and butter naan Along with the chicken biryani for main course. Each and every dish was so on point. Not a single thing to complain about. Be it the food or the service. Kudos to team NIZAMS
