Nuts and Brew

Nuts & Brew used to be a place I really enjoyed. Earlier, their pasta tasted amazing and was very comforting. However, my recent visit was quite disappointing. The food was not appetizing at all this time. The chicken had no taste, and the pasta had no flavor whatsoever. The dishes were simply served without much attention to taste. That said, the ambience is good. If you visit late at night, it does turn into a lively party spot, especially suited for a younger crowd.

A very happening pub in town visited by people from all age groups. They serve good cocktails. Live music was enjoyable. One can dance without any hesitation or inhibitions. I found the service little slow. A very young and cheerful crowd could be seen later in the evening. It's good place for letting your hair down once in a while.

Had a spook-tacular time at Nuts & Brew, Guwahati, on Halloween Night! The ambiance was great, and the food was delicious, especially the: - Chicken Biryani - Chicken Chilly - Cokes A fun night with tasty food and drinks!

Nice place with a well mannered crew Nice ambiance with full packed weekend crowd , versatile dj’s with great food and drinks at reasonable price….A must visit place if you are in Guwahati.

Very Poor Management & Disappointing Experience We visited this place for an unplugged singer session, and the entire experience was chaotic from start to finish. To begin with, there was zero signage inside the lobby indicating where the bar/event space was. None of us knew which floor to go to, and we were stuck wandering around for nearly 16 minutes. For a venue that hosts events, basic direction stickers or signs are the bare minimum. When we finally found the right floor, I suggested to the person scanning tickets that clearer signage would help newcomers. His response was repeatedly, “ not with management”, which was confusing, because if you’re scanning tickets, who exactly placed you there??? We were then redirected to another staff member at the counter who nodded us through. Just as we were about to enter, another staff member at the door yelled out “WAIT!” very rudely. Both my friend and I were shocked by the tone. Even his colleagues reacted, yet no one corrected him. He mumbled something and finally put the ID bands on us, but the damage was already done. Hoping food would improve the mood, we went to the second floor. We asked a server for the menu and waited 20 minutes, no menu, no follow-up, no acknowledgment. I eventually had to walk up and ask again. At that point, we were already convinced the service was extremely poor. Downstairs, things only got worse. The venue was severely overcrowded, with questionable ventilation. It felt unsafe. There was barely room to stand, let alone move, honestly, one small mishap could easily lead to a disaster. The event timing was another disaster. The singer took forever to come on stage. Instead, a DJ played for nearly 1.5 hours to cover up the delay. Delays happen, but this was excessive. When the singer finally performed, the crowd was so packed that we couldn’t even see his face. We left with an overall terrible experience and will definitely not be returning. Word of advice to the management: If you’re planning events, focus on proper coordination, respectful staff behavior, crowd control, and realistic capacity planning. Don’t get greedy by overselling tickets at the cost of safety and customer experience.

Overall place was good. The lighting was good and staff were very polite, food was also good but price was a bit higher here. Note that there were no parking facilities.

Fabulous place with delicious food and lots of options of brewed beer. The music and ambience is top notch.
