Great food at an affordable price. The staff is very well behaved and professional. We went for a lunch, and really had a great time. The quality of food is very good and i would love to recommend it to my friends.

The best place for ethnic food. I chose this mainly for two reasons. First, the food is tasty, with pork, chicken, and fish available, and it has a homely vibe. Second, the price associated with it. The cost for one person is less than 200 for a meat thali. You can also have a special thali, which costs around 250. You can have tea, coffee, and some fast food such as momo, pokoda as well all of good quality.

I recently visited reene's kitchen cum cafe, a cozy spot that serves a traditional Assamese thali along with a few fast-food options. The ambiance was pleasant, with a simple yet inviting setup. The Assamese thali was flavorful, and the ingredients tasted fresh. However, I felt the variety could be improved. While the essentials were well-prepared, adding a few more side dishes or seasonal specialties would enhance the experience. The service was polite but lacked warmth. At most thali-serving restaurants, staff usually check in to see if diners need refills or extra servings, but here, no one approached me during the meal. A bit more attentiveness would have made the experience more welcoming. One major downside is the location. While the uphill drive adds a scenic touch, the absence of a dedicated parking area is inconvenient, especially for those visiting by car. Finding a safe spot to park can be a hassle. Overall, reene's kitchen cum cafe has good food and a promising concept, but improvements in variety, service, and parking arrangements would make it a standout choice for Assamese cuisine lovers. Rating: 4/5

📌 visited to the outlet on 08/09/2024. ➡️ The outlet is located in an upward roadside area, 3.5 km from Ganesh Mandir, Ganeshguri. ➡️ There is roadside parking in a downward road, with no space for helmets or other articles. ➡️ The interior design/placement is unique, with an upper deck and lower deck for seating. ➡️ The service boy did not know the names of the chutneys provided, and did not pronounce "Noroshinha (নৰসিংহ) Chutey" properly. ➡️ The experience suggests that they use low-quality rice, which is low in taste and sticks to the hand. ➡️ The pork curry in the Pork Thali was not good, with too much loose-gravy. Overall, the prices are relatively low which is good, but the owner should take necessary steps, particularly in the rice segments.

Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. Small Cozy -Budget Restaurant with delicious food, impeccable service. I tried Assamese Thali with Fish Tenga and Local Chicken…(also home packed Veg Thali -Pork Slice fry with Bamboo shoots & Pork with Lai Saak) taste is Simply wow and the best part is its absolutely homemade cooking with balance of oil & local Masala. I appreciate both Owner who was present for putting together such a good experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. I’ve been to many similar restaurants, but this one truly stands out on taste and both on quality & quantity. The attention to detail and commitment to guest service set it apart from the rest. I’ll be recommending it to all my friends and family to give a try for a very happy & pocket friendly meal 🙌

A small in the Kahilipara Power House area in Chilarai Path. Tried the Veg thali & Pork with Sesame curry. The veg thali was good with simple homemade style dal n veggies. The pork was absolutely good compared to the price. Prices are reasonable for an AC restaurant.
