One of the best restaurants in Guwahati is undoubtedly *Sunga and Sparta*. The buffet dinner is a must-try, with an incredible spread that will leave you spoiled for choice 😊. Each and every item is delicious, carefully crafted to delight your taste buds. The wide range of salads and starters is impressive, from sushi to falafel, and everything in between - just mouthwatering! The portion sizes are generous, ensuring you leave feeling satisfied and content. Whether you're in the mood for something classic or adventurous, Sunga and Sparta has something for everyone. The price is really worth what you pay for it, making it one of the top spots in Guwahati for value-for-money dining. Definitely a great spot for a casual dinner with friends or a special occasion! Ambience and behaviour is also very good

This place really delivers in terms of both quality and quantity of food. Seriously it's one of the best places if you really want to have good food. I ordered charmoula fish, roasted chicken ramen, thai basil green veggies, Thai basil chicken curry and korean gochujang pork. Trust me..each of them was awesomely prepared. Everything just melted in the mouth. The interiors are bright and nicely done. The staff is very courteous. It does have a diverse menu offering interesting items. I recommend this place to everyone. I mostly loved the thai cuisine and the ramen. I do visit this place often.

We visited a few days ago and had a quality time. We ordered shrimp tempura sushi, turkish chicken doner delight, cottage cheese tossed in sesame and honey chilli, and veg burnt garlic noodles. Loved the sushi, and the cottage cheese item added something new to our palette. Service was top notch and atmosphere felt decent. The only thing that bothered us because we visited during puja season was how close the tables were placed to each other.

They are offering Arabic Food, but they can't even make a proper Hummus which is basic item for Arabic Food. How can some make Hummus without any Olive Oil. The irony is they spoiling the image of middle east cuisine to those people who have never tasted it. Staff is good, however turnaround time to Serve is pathetic. It took almost an hour to get the food on the table. Live music singer was good, but it was too loud. We were struggling to have a conversation on the table. One literally has to lean to listen to the other person. Kind of money they charge doesnot commensurate with the quality of food nor with the service level. Its like they are trying to fool people who has never tasted Arabic food. Definitely this reataurant can be avoided.

The ambiance , atmosphere, behaviour of the staff is very good. But the food was so so mediocre it's almost funny, you'd expect food from an overexpensive place to at least taste a bit unique , it was not lol. Except for the bao nothing was worth it. If you're looking for good pictures and good time then do visit, but if it's for food, don't.

Had visited the place with great enthusiasm , especially after hearing a lot about the place but was utterly disappointed. First of all , lets talk about the food . We ordered coke (sparkling water by glass ), pita bread with hummus , chicken hakka noodles and pizza ( margherita clasicana ) . Ps :- the pizza never came We have to wait almost one hour ( 30 mins for pita and hummus and another 30 minutes for the noodles ) and trust me the wait was not worth it . And after one jour when we asked like where is our pizza , they are even not aware we ordered one ( like seriously ) . Okay , i accept that we changed our seats . Actually there are two seating arrangements sunga and sparta . We didnot find our previous seat comfortable so we asked them if we can change to other seat , abd they readily agreed . Maybe so the ordered got mixed up a bit , but isn’t it their responsibility to make sure we get our order correctly , they could have just asked us or repeated the order once . Also many guest were served welcome drinks ( though i am not completely sure ) but we were not given the same The ambiance is good but not small and crowded For the service , i found it good at first but after we change our seats we were alloted a different lady ( i wont mention the name ) I found her behaviour strange , when we mentioned about the pizza , she was like i have work to do let me do it and i will talk to you ( it was okay if she was really busy but the tone with which she said was not good ) After that we asked them to just hand over the bill, along with which she gave us a feedback form . We wrote down our grievances but she has a problem with that too . She was like why didn’t u give us a good rating . I didn’t understand how can someone ask a customer for good rating in that tone Some of the staff behaviour was really good though . In short , we regretted the visit

Thought of trying Korean, Japanese cuisine , there was a card on table saying grab a soju and get complimentary sushi .we asked the waitress what is soju, she said it is a Korean drink made of green grapes ,so we ordered.no doubt it came in very cute cutlery but few sips and we felt it tastes awful plus so much burning sensation. Then we saw the bottle and read wine on its label.we called waitress to ask if it has alcohol in it.She said yes its an alcoholic drink . We said she should have told so she is saying you don't drink alcohol!!! As if its normal to drink alcohol. We told manager about it so he said you don't know whats soju..we said we are not from korea and will you assume all who come here drink alcohol.he said they don't serve alcohol under 18 (😕) He is not aware of legal Age for drinking. Who gave them license to serve alcohol !!!! Still they charged for it ..and made two mocktails free. Which was not needed.
