The Naga Kitchen as the name suggests serves Naga cuisines. The service is quick and they serve the thalis almost immediately. Had smoked chicken thali and Green tea, the food was quite ok, the thali had two variants of chicken, one was smoked chicken with gravy and the other was dry chicken in bamboo shoot and the taste was ok, not amazing but acceptable, pricing is ok and portions were a bit less but it was enough for me

I would have given more stars but five is the maximum i can give. Awesome food, awesome taste. Authentic naga cuisine. I lived every bit of all the items. If you are in that area and planning for having lunch in the area, its a must go place.

Smoked Pork Thali - Rs.320 The Naga Kitchen, Azara, Guwahati Naga Thali Lotha $$$ 13.10.24 Today I'm travelling & since it's going to be a week long trip I wanted to have pork before leaving the north east. It was the last day of Pujo festival called Bijoya Dashami & there were less cabs running to the airport. I had prepared a list of likely places to eat along the way but thanks to the festival, everything was closed. It wasn't until I reached Azara, 10mins before the airport that I saw The Naga Kitchen open. I immediately stopped the car. This place was also on my list but yes it wasn't the 1st on it. I got down & entered this small looking eatery. Inside it was bigger than I had perceived. It is run by a group of Lotha Naga ladies. The lady came up to me & informed that the place will open after 15mins since they had shut shop at 1am the previous night. I decided to wait since I had no plans of eating 500 bucks sandwiches in the airport. She also informed that some of the dishes were not ready yet. I actually wanted to try out the Smoked pork in sesame, Naga style as it would be a first but it wasn't ready. Finally I went for a normal smoked pork thali. It came exactly 15mins later. It had a nice semi sticky rice, 5 small pcs of dry smoked pork in Bamboo shoot, 2 pcs of smoked pork in a light tomato gravy, dal, boiled squash, king chilli fish chutney, normal chutney, aloo Pitika & salad. The rice is the kind I like with some aroma to it. The dry pork was also tasty but pcs were a little small. The gravy pork had 2 pcs, one of which was just bone. The dal was light & seasoned. The veggies & chutneys good. Overall the food was tasty & wholesome & though it looked a little less at 1st glance for the price, it was enough. Instagram ID - kari.on.eats

Food is healthy with less oil and spice as it is the uniqueness of Naga food. Service is bit on a slower side. It is small place. Quantity served is on smaller side, though u can ask for refill, but refilled quantity is again little. Place is hygienic though !

Pocket friendly price, wholesome quantity and delicious food. Naga Kitchen is a place which won't disappoint you. Checking its location on the highway one might judge if it will be a good option for a meal because by its appearance it's a small outlet with not much work done to the interior. But trust me, the food is amazing.

Nice place.. nothing too fascinating but the food was good and the quantity was good for the price offered. Enjoyed the *Pork Ribs* but didnt much enjoyed the prawns butter garlic or even the smoked chicken (was too burnt)

Ordered the fresh pork and fresh chicken thali. Both tasted amazing with the right amount of spicy. Would love to stop here again between airport trips.

Honestly, this was such a disappointing experience. I was really excited at first when I saw they served Naga food being from the Northeast myself, it made me feel happy and hopeful. But everything went downhill from there. I ordered chicken fried rice, instead of Naga food as my colleague couldn’t eat pork and not only was the food served cold, but there were barely 5 tiny chunks of chicken in the entire dish. It felt like I was just eating plain rice with barely any flavor or effort. What made it worse was the attitude of the staff. The women who was serving didn’t even care to ask if everything was okay. She was just rude, cold, and clearly only interested in taking the money. No smile, no courtesy, I didn’t even feel like to take the photo of the food. How can a place treat customers like that and still expect to grow? If you want to charge high prices, at least offer decent food and basic respect. I really wanted to support this place, especially because of the Naga menu, but this will definitely be my first and last visit. Totally not worth it.
