We rented a Tata Nexon (Manual, 2024 Model) from Zoomera Self Drive Cars, Guwahati for our Durga Puja vacation road trip to Meghalaya and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Our trip covered all kinds of terrain from the wide lanes of Shillong to the steep, narrow off-roads of Amkoi. The Nexon performed flawlessly throughout, giving us the perfect balance of power and compactness. It handled every curve, climb, and rocky patch with ease and confidence. A special shout-out to Vicky Bhaiya, the owner, who is incredibly cooperative and friendly. He and his team were always available, even at odd hours, to assist us whenever needed. That 24×7 support really made a difference on a long trip like ours. What makes Zoomera stand out is not just their great service, but also their affordable pricing — much more reasonable than any other self-drive car service in Guwahati (and I’ve done my research!). The car was in absolute perfect condition, it felt like almost new, the car didn't give any issues for the whole trip. Renting a car from Zoomera is absolutely hassle free, as the staff's behaviour was very nice and polite.

SCAMMERS..FRAUDS..LIARS..POOR SERVICE.. I booked the car, as I was given a good deal by Vicky. And I asked for airport delivery, specifying time for 9 AM. As I was going to Dirang, which is around 8- 9 hours continuous drive from Guwahati, through dangerous mountainous roads. So I specifically asked Vicky that I will need car at 9 AM sharp, so I can reach Dirang before sunset time. Drama begins when I land in Guwahati. I called Vicky, and he told me that he got confused with date, and gave me number of a staff to contact, as he was "BUSY" in the gym. Vicky also reassured me that "THE CAR IS READY". So I believed him, and called the staff. The staff was not aware about airport delivery at all...! Vicky didn't inform anyone at all.. there wasn't any communication between the staff members at all. The staff told me on the phone that THE CAR IS READY, but if he sends the car to airport then, it will consume more time, and he advised me to reach to the office to save time. So, now I had to book uber to reach the office. When I reached the office, SURPRISE SURPRISE..the car is not there..!!! Jitendra, who was in office, kept reassuring me that the car has gone for a wash, and will be back in 10 minutes.. The time passes.....and the car doesn't arrive yet. Finally, the car arrives at 11:45 or so..And as I was assuming, it was still dirty. I frankly don't believe Jitendra. I don't think the car had been washed at all. It had all the dust on the wind screens. And rubbish inside the car as well. So, Instead of being honest and accepting their mistake, they kept giving false explanations and reassurances... During paperwork, again Jitendra was not aware about what had been negotiated with Vicky. So again, no communication at all between staff members. I received the car at around 12. And as I was already late by 3 hours for Dirang, I had to change my plans, hotel bookings and itinerary, just because of poor service, ignorance and miscommunication of Zoomera staff. The car was actually in good condition with all the features as promised by Vicky. The car was running smoothly and nice, no concerns about that. On the day of return, I think Rahul Deka came to collect the car. He inspected the car, and he was of course looking for all the scratches, so THEY CAN CHARGE FOR EXTRA MONEY..He managed to find some superficial scratches, which you normally could not find easily even with open eyes.. He found 1 scratch on left side of bonnet, and 1 more on right side of car. And he told me that I will have to pay EXTRA for those. Luckily, I had the video taken on day of arrival, and shown Rahul that the scratch on side of car was already there. So, he called his boss, and of course couldn't claim for it. But, for that very superficial scratch on side of bonnet, which didn't even require anything, they charged 5000 Rs. as extra.... 5000 for the superficial scratch, which is hardly even noticeable....!!! I knew they were doing fraud, and scamming for extra money. But I had to catch the flight, so I didn't do much argument, and paid 5000. So, in short, VERY POOR SERVICE, DISHONEST and IGNORANT STAFF, and specifically, BIG SCAMMERS AND FRAUDS...

We have taken this self drive car at Guwahati on 9th Nov' 25. And overall service was absolutely excellent. Very affordable price and supportive staff at all the time. They do have pick and drop service with minimum cost. The owner Mr. Vikky poddar was very kind and supportive. Enjoyed almost 8 days with the great commute support. Car condition was good. ☺️🚗

Please don't rent from this place. The condition of the car was very poor . No maintenance at all. Customer service was also very bad. Took a car for my tawang trip. All plans got changed due to the very bad condition of the car. In between had to change the tyres. Also had issues regarding payment after reaching back. Go for other rentals if you have other options.
