Catering Room owned by the young and enthusiastic Chinmay Talukdar and his wife was hired for my son's wedding reception catering in Guwahati on 6th December 2025. It was perhaps one of best decisions that we took for 3 months on, all our relatives and friends keep complimenting us saying that of all weddings they have attended in Guwahati and elsewhere, they cannot forget ours because of the unique and mouthwatering spread of more than 55 items laid out as elegantly. From Koliwada prawn 🍤 and Malai curry to mutton chops and Rogan Josh. From flavourful Khow Sui soup to mini chicken sizzlers in cute sizzler plates, from colourful and attractive mocktails to kebab platter, delectable Biriyani and fish mutton specialties to die for, live counter offering dosas, chaat and pasta, they had it all. All that served by spic and span uniformed service boys made the evening a lifetime to remember for our guests and was a huge success for us. It feels good when friends still compliment us on the delectable food and ambience that made the occasion so memorable for everyone.

We had a great experience with this catering service in Guwahati. From planning to execution, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The food was delicious, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. Guests kept asking about the dishes, which says a lot. The team was punctual, polite, and very accommodating to our requests, even with last-minute changes. Portions were generous and presentation was neat and appealing. I’m so happy that I choose ‘The Catering Room’ for my wedding. It’s been 2 months now and people still talk about the lip-smacking food. They are very professional and they are very accommodative with their menu. When it comes to preparing the menu, they personally recommend dishes that gives an edge to the whole menu. Their food presentation is class apart and very high end, I would say the best in the city. I went for a lot of food trials before picking them but didn’t get a complete package of food, taste and classy presentation. Thank you ‘The Catering Room’ for the amazing experience and for being so cooperative.
