This was the first time I went to a restaurant in Guwahati, and I really liked it. There weren’t many people, the whole place was very peaceful. I really liked the surroundings there. At that time the atmosphere was also very nice, and there was also a small bar-type area. But what I meant to say is, I really enjoyed the lunch there. The staff were also very good, and the food is also overall very nice experience.

Wow, what an amazing discovery. Didn't have much expectations upon entering the place but did it blow us away! The food was absolutely delicious as well as affordable. Here's what we had: Chicken Makhanwala Turnover and Chicken Tikka. The tikka was cooked nicely, it was pretty good. The turnover was awesome. Basically, it's like a stuffed naan. It was creamy, cheesy and absolutely delicious. One turnover is enough to fill your belly. Definitely try out the turnover if you are ever planning on visiting. I would definitely go back to try out their other dishes. Service was good and efficient. The ambience of the place is pretty nice as well.

Visited The Masala Wok some time back and it was an absolute treat! Their famous Naan Turnover completely lived up to the hype – unique, rich, flavour-packed, and unlike anything I’ve tried in the city. The fried rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. This place probably has the best Chicken Butter Masala in the city, so creamy and delicious, and goes perfectly with both rice and naan. For appetizers, had the Mushroom Chatpata – full of zest and spice, it was the perfect starter to kick things off. Special kudos to the owner for maintaining this quality at such affordable prices. From start to finish, every dish was bursting with flavor, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Definitely one of the best food experiences I’ve had in a while – can’t wait to go back. Been frequently ordering on Zomato as well, and not once have they disappointed. Must try!

I ordered their food through online platform, tried their burnt garlic chicken noodles and chilly chicken with fried rice combo. And trust me it was so delicious. It tasted fresh and the quantity was sufficient too. Go for it without any second thoughts 😎👍

**The food in the picture might look good but it is not** As it was a cold day, we had ordered lemon coriander soup to warm us up. However, the only soup available was hot and sour soup so we had to go with that. For the main course, we ordered Schezwan hakka noodles, chicken 65 and chilli ginger chicken. The hot and sour soup was super hot with pieces of green chillies and lots of pepper. It had our bellies burning and our eyes watering. Then came the noodles and the chicken. The chicken in both the chicken 65 and chilli ginger chicken was too hard to be cut with the fork and the spoon; even too hard to chew. When we complained about the food to the manager, he said that other customers didn't have a problem. The only thing "The Masala Wok" could rightly deliver was the MASALA in everything. Maybe it was to cover up the stale food underneath. Highly disappointed!

The food was amazing. Everything tasted really fresh and the quantity was decent. The fish fingers were crispy and soft on the inside. The naan turnover was a really innovative dish that was delicious. Loved the dosa and the chutneys. We celebrated our friends birthday and the owner was very responsive and accommodating.

Tried most of the restaurants in Guwahati but close to none of them had the amazing quality of food, splendid service and an awesome ambience. Would highly recommend this place to everyone who's staying or travelling near to Paltan Bazar in Guwahati! For a restaurant to satisfy the palate of customers of all age type is a difficult thing to do, but The Masala Wok has done a splendid job at this!🙌🏻🎉🤌🏻
