Administrative Block, IIT Guwahati

On the occasion of 79th Independence Day. The Administrative Block at IIT Guwahati is where most of the important student-related work happens — from admissions and registration to certificates and official approvals. As a student, I’ve had to visit here multiple times, and my experience has been quite smooth overall. The staff is generally helpful and guides you to the right desk if you’re unsure where to go. If you come with all your documents ready, most work gets done quickly. The building itself is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, which definitely helps during busy days. What I appreciate most is that even during peak times, there’s a sense of order, and you can usually get your queries resolved without much hassle. It’s an essential part of our campus life, and the way it’s run makes student life a bit easier.

The main block for all administrative and student related matters. Has two ATMs, a ethnic handloom shop and a restaurant.

Nice place, Ac is good. Lift is also there ,water cooler at every floor. Marble covering of outer side is very beautiful. The view from its entry gate is very grandesque.

All the administrative work is conducted in this building. This very building houses students' affairs office, academic affairs office, finance & accounts office, Hostel Affairs Board office, office of the Director, Deputy Director, Registrar, etc. There are total three floors in this building and the students' affairs office is on the 3rd floor.
