It is not having a raised platform. You have to get down to the level of railway track to get off from the train. It is at walking distance from IIT Guwahati main gate. Generally train doesnot stop here for halt but to wait for other trains to pass over the brahmaputra bridge. You wont get any frequent transport from here. You have to walk for a km to reach the high way from where other modes of transport are available.

Food quality is good

A small halt just before kamakhya jn. Watch Buddha monastery statue on the hill.

It's a small railway station. Ok for people from IIT and travel into nearby districts by local train. It bare bones for a railway station.
