Symphony School of Music, Lankeswar is by far the most unprofessional institute who simply CHEAT people in the name of Admission and their so called rules. The behaviour and conduct of Mr Bhushan Pathak is pathetic and seem to lack moral values as well. On 05th Feb, I met Mr Bhushan Pathak for my son's admission and after discussing I paid him Rs 8000/- (5000- admission and 3000- monthly) for piano, wherein 5000 included books as per him. However, two days after I got a mail from my organisation that I have been transferred out of Guwahati and I needed to join there next week. As I needed to shift next week to the new location with my family, I called Mr Pathak who was at a concert in Kolkata, and informed him of the current developments and that I could not continue this year. To this he replied that he will refund the amount after returning to Guwahati in two days time. Post that, I called him many a times and he kept telling me that there were 4 more teachers associated with the institute and he had to discuss prior to returning my money and that they had a rule of not returning complete amount of admission and that was also mentioned in their admission form. It was quite surprising to me as this was neither conveyed to me while taking admission nor he ever asked me to check their rules. At the end he returned me Rs 5000/ - only via online and when I called him, he told me that he was in a class and will get back to me as soon as it ends..... Unfortunately he never called back and has also stopped receiving my numerous calls and messages afterwards... These kind of unethical, fraud, theft mentality people like Bhushan Pathak don't deserve any respect and are there only to cheat people unethically. He might be a good musician but he he not ethical at all....

Worst institute,they are cheating parents,they are taking admissions only for selling Certificates and musical instruments.He is taking three month fees at a same time.He never share any msg regarding regular classes.He fixed my wards guitar class on Tuesday but till date instructor not found in class on that day.After that he call my ward on Sunday and that day also same instructor not coming so he directed my ward to practice himself and do excercise.He is serious about his monthly fees collection so he started messeging to the parents from the first day of ending month regularly.He had also started a new centre for his collection at Rani road opposite to Decathlon.I request to the parents please not give admission in this two center specially for Guitar class.He had collected Rs.2000 per month for guitar class and offer only 4 classes in a month and luckily only one day guitar instructor was available.So i think we don't need to by certificates without practical knowledge.So keep away from famous name of the institute only.

My son has been attending the Music school for the last 3 years. He learns guitar from Madhurya Bordoloi Sir. He is doing quite well. Ambience and decorum is very good. Bhushan Pathak Sir teaches the piano. They are excellent teachers. The curriculum seems appropriate for budding music lovers. I wish a great success ahead for the Symphony School of Music.

It's a very good institution of various music courses.teachers are very kind and dedicated.Anyone can learn music in a short period in this institution due to the procedure of teaching methodology.

Symphony school of music is a very good music school. Specially for Piano, western vocal and guitar. Bhushan Pathak is one of a best Piano teacher. We are very lucky that our child has been learning piano under him....
