My friend has a foreign body in the oesophagus. He asked to do endoscopy which was fine, we did and reports were normal but xray still showed a foreign body. When we showed him the reports he said if the body is there then it is there or surgery is needed and referred us to a gastrologist saying it was their work to do. But removal and surgery of neck comes under ent. Maybe he was not confident in himself to perform such surgery or idk what but we didnot get any solution from his side. So I feel my consultant fee has also gone to waste. Disappointed even if his behaviour is good. He should have atleast accepted that he dont or cant perform such critical surgeries because a chennai based ent specialist did the surgery. He shouldn't have misguided us by referring to his fellow gastrologist.
