Arya Hospital

I am very thankful to the entire team of Arya Hospital for the service they are providing to senior citizens by visiting them at home and healing their pain this was very much needed in Guwahati City. Booked an appointment at 10am this morning for my mother who is 80+ and by 12pm their Doctor and his team reached our place. Very attentive and polite behavior my special thanks goes to Dr. Mukaram Hussain and Mr. Neer for attending my mother so well.. Very prompt service will definitely refer to friends and family.

My mother is admitted in this hospital for appendicitis operation. The Doctor and staff especially Matron mam is very much helpful. I can discuss anything with mam about medicine, food, or any help and she clear my confusion very easily. She is like with us all the time. A very heartful thanks to her. My mother also feels like home no worries. Thanks to all the staff and it's a good hospital anyone can visit without second thoughts. Thanks again.

The ambulance team responded promptly and handled the situation with great professionalism. The ICU nursing staff were compassionate, attentive, and dedicated, providing round-the-clock care with utmost sincerity. A special and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rajiv Bora and Ms. Nirupama Saikia for their extended help, guidance, and continuous support. Their timely decisions, kindness, and commitment played a crucial role in saving my mother’s life(Patient name Annada Saikia) I truly appreciate the teamwork, dedication, and humanity shown by everyone involved. I am very happy with the hospitality, caring staff. Doctors are also amazing. I consulted Dr. Sweety Kakoty for nephrologist and Dr. N Hailong performed a gallbladder operation with remarkable precision and care. The procedure was carried out successfully, Dr. Bulen Phukan (Anesthesiologists ) and Dr. K M Deka . Laishram Jina & Sarita providing quality care and advocating for your patients is truly commendable. Thank you for your exceptional service.

February 1st started with food poisoning. I vomited more than 11 times and was immediately taken to the emergency ward. I was given medication (Pantop, Omden) and one IV drip. With time, I became stable and felt completely fine—by God’s grace. But that’s where the real problem began. Even after clearly telling them that I was feeling normal and there was no need for further treatment, the private hospital staff started forcing and manipulating us. They kept saying that if we wanted discharge, it would be “at our own risk.” As someone who has been through similar medical situations before, I knew this was not serious anymore and could be managed easily. They forced multiple blood tests, allergy tests, and antibiotics, despite my repeated refusal. I had to raise my voice, along with my family, to stop them. We requested discharge after just one drip because we wanted to consult another doctor, especially since I am a PKD patient and prefer personal medical supervision. Instead of respecting our decision, they kept using fear tactics and propaganda to trap us—clearly trying to shift me to a cabin for 3 days or more just to increase the bill. Their intention was never treatment; it was money. The most shocking part? For less than 6 hours, just one drip and two medicines, we were charged ₹7,753. We were completely stunned and speechless What scares me is not just what happened to me—but what happens to people who don’t have enough education or experience to question such manipulation. They get trapped easily. The staff’s behaviour was horrible (except for one person). One nurse removed the cannula tape harshly, without care, which displaced my skin and caused bleeding. It felt intentional—purely because we disagreed with them and stood our ground. This experience caused me more mental trauma than the food poisoning itself. I strongly urge people to be careful of such hospitals and doctors who prioritize money over human lives, regardless of whether a patient can afford the bill or not. This was one of the most pathetic and painful experiences I have ever had. Never visit this hospital! you're money will be saved to extend!

I am glad that I have consulted Dr. U.C Sarma, his conduct was very professional and also very humble. The knee revision surgery was a huge sucess and kudos to the surgery team to carry out such a critical operation with such professionalism and sincerity. Dr. U.C Sarma and Dr. Chinmoy Sarma was very clear and thorough with their instructions. Overall I will always recommend them for any ortho related issues. Arya hospital staff was very supportive and helpful throughout our stay. Hospital is very clean and cleanliness is maintained every few hours. Special thanks must be given to the nursing staff for taking special care of my mother.

This hospital is lost its grace patient's have decreased and now if you admit your near and dear ones they will cut your pocket like anything. I had admitted my wife on 29th and on 31st got released for that they have charged 49k. If you are charging like 5star then you should have services like 5 Star.Poor will avoid in future for sure.
