Anchorage Guest House

The owner was so rude, didn't feel welcoming at all. Even the toiletries were charged separately which should've been included in the bill. It is better to stay somewhere else even if the guesthouse is in the main area . It's all about money for this guest house.I wish i had the option to give a 0 star if there were even an option. There are many other guest houses/hotels that'll make you feel like a home away from home but definitely not this "ANCHORAGE GUEST HOUSE". I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Wouldn't suggest this place, there are better homestays with better amenities and services at a cheaper rate. This place charged 1500 for a room without attached bathroom, without a geyser and without providing the smallest of toileteries plus 300 extra for using the kitchen. During our two day stay, they didnt check up on us even once to ask if we need anything or if everything is okay, the refrigerator was broken and to top it all off, they charged us for an extra day just because we were late by one hour from the Check out time, mind you We've already notified them about us checking out prior to the check out time. We had to visit the hospital for some work Because of Which we were late by an hour but we had already informed them about it but they refused to understand. Staff wasn't of an help either. Wont recommend

Scamming people for money . Zero hospitality , stayed for 2 days and was an hour late for checkout and they fined us for one whole day . Even for toiletries have to pay extra . Room also not worth the price . There are better guest house in Guwahati and I recommend to go someplace else

It's a beautiful place with a homely environment. Peace of mind guaranteed and the ideal location for being located just behind SBI Bank at the start of Six Mile Flyover Bridge, Mukunda Path on the busy G.S Road will definitely suit your business trip. I am still here with my big brother for a medical checkup as I write this short experience. A truly remarkable place to stay in. Dear folks, I am enjoying my stay here.

This guest house is in a very good locality. Just 1 min walk from highway. With parking lot. very homely. Spacious and clean room. Recommended😊
