Blue Moon Guest House

I don't know why particular this guest house has a rating of 3.7 in Google but when I stepped in today morning, being a travel agency owner, I found this place quite good for stay at such and reasonable price within the city on a main road. At a price of Rs 1000 per night for a single person, rooms are quite okay, washrooms are quite clean and food is of top notch. They only doesn't have a proper dining room so they used to serve all the ordered foods in the room itself which is really a quiet good option for those who want to eat something in their room on and easy note. I found this place really great for those who want to stay for a night or to within a budget. 5 star

Stayed a night in this guest house. Close to market and approx 3 kms from railway station. A budget and good place to stay. Not so spacious but clean room. Nice for quick travellers. Restaurant is moreover like a eating place place without any ambiance. So room service is better.One can easily find eatery close to this guest house.

Location is really very good,just on the kahilipara road. Booked the hotel for my driver. He had no complaints. Room was good with good car parking.it is a decent stay for 1 night.

The rooms are small and not very clean. The bathroom and toilet are attached, but the shower area is so small that you can barely move.I really didn’t like this guest house and wouldn’t recommend it. The room size is okay for the price, but the cleanliness is just not good."

Experience was not good during my two days stay. Room was booked with 2 persons but one small bed was there though it is manageable but it is not desirable. They did not prepared the room as per the requirement of two persons, AC remote was not working though they provided us working remote later on. Service is not that good as per the booking price.

Bed sheet and blacket are not changed regularly, no toiletries exept sope, not functioning electronics.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel, and I can't praise it enough. I am sharing my personal experience, today i.e 2nd of April 2025, I was traveling from Shillong to Nagaon and due to traffic my plan was cancel and I had to stay at Guwahati and I was searching for Hotels for a night stay and I got this Hotel, the staffs was very polite and while booking we had booked non ac family bed online but while reaching the room was taken by someone and so they gave an AC room. I recommend this hotel to everyone
