Guwahati Guest House

This guest house is conveniently located on Kahilipara Road and provides clean single and double rooms at an affordable price. Both attached and common bathroom options are available. It is suitable for short stays. Mosquito nets are provided, which is very helpful in Guwahati. The Directorate of Higher Education is very close. Continuous water supply is available, and AC rooms are also offered.

This is an honest review ok but others opinion may differ so don't worry if ur opinion doesn't match mine....now let's review- This Guest House have 5 types of room ( I'm mentioning prices) 1.single bed. Rs-150/day 2.double beds. Rs-350/day 3.Triple beds. Rs-500/day 4. four beds. Rs-700/day 5. five beds. Rs-800/day 😁 That's all for room pricing. Now time for other things... 😗 Fist of all, For furniture All rooms have beds( obviously it's must), clothes hanger stand, and also a small square table (for double beds and above rooms) also a clothes hanger attached in the door... 😌Next all rooms except for 5th type have a single fan ,which is very disappointing and not good at all specially during summer's as fans air will not reach the all beds...oh ya rooms have 2 lights - 1 tube light and 1 bulb 😌 Quality of beds are not good, it makes ko-kah sound if u move slightly in bed , Bedsheets are in quite bad state , well they provide good quality mosquito net. 😌 Lastly let's talk about toilets and bathrooms- They have 2 toilets 1 of them is 🤢🤮 don't go inside that it's so dirty 2nd one is quite small but also somewhat clean..it does have mirror and a sink but tap is broken..but ya water come 24×7 !! Last is bathroom with a toilet inside.. there's also a sink and mirror but sink is broken and there is shower but it's watering speed is very slow so just use tap and bucket for bath..... Both bathrooms and toilets doesn't have any soap, or shampoo... All toilets are squatting types (😗very Indian like) Very important Owner's behaviour is very rude and u have to check out before 10:30am in the morning if u have booked room for single day...

Somewhat cheap compared to the other lodges in and around the Jatia-DPI-GaneshMandir area of Kahilipara road. The room size is moderate, however the bathrooms are not that hygienic as you'd expect them to be.

Value for money but it's really sophisticated and NOT SOO hygienic.But service is still good and active.
