Okum Guest House

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay and felt completely comfortable throughout our visit. The room was well maintained, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special mention goes to the caretaker, Siva, who truly made our stay memorable. He was extremely polite, helpful, and always available whenever we needed assistance.

We were a friends group of 8 & we had a super comfortable experience staying at Okum. Firstly the guest house is very well maintained, clean and rooms are extremely spacious. There are attached 3 attached kitchen which has necessary supplies to cook your own food if you will. If not, you can order food on Swiggy / zomato which we did as-well. The area in which the guest house is situated is also quiet and in a good locality with good restaurants and shops around. It has a front area which is sufficiently big to accommodate the 2-3 vehicles easily. The highlight of the stay is Shivjit who is the caretaker there, extremely very friendly person, will go beyond take care of anything that you ask for. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay in Guwahati. Highly recommended.

The room was also equipped with modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked minibar. The attention to detail was evident, from the thoughtful welcome note to the fresh flowers on the table. The en-suite bathroom was spacious and spotless, with a powerful shower and luxurious toiletries. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to assist with any request. Overall, my stay was fantastic.

The hosts are gracious and the place is spacious. I loved waking up in the winter and basking in the sun at the front yard. It's centrally located and all necessary amenities are in the vicinity. I had a great time there. The caretaker is a sweetheart, always a smile on his face and helps you out with everything you need. Do visit.
