It's a nice store for gifting and souvenirs. In clothes...they can have some more variety of stoles, women jackets etc

A nice place to get Assamese handicrafts, clothes very quickly on the way to teg airport. There is not a huge variety but what's available is nice and useful for gifting and for taking back a few items as memories from Assam. I bought a wooden Rhino carving and a beautiful shawl. Was happy with them both - perfect gift apart from the memories I took back from this beautiful land. I would recommend this place more than the stores inside(or within) the airport complex.

A good place to shop for Assamese traditional dresses and crafts. Located just outside the Lok Priyo Gopinath Bordoloi Airport, Guwahati. However the price is on the higher side. One would get the same items in Polton Bazaar at much lower rates. However shopping at Polton Bazaar is a difficult and time taking task for someone new to Guwahati.

We just got back from this shop. They have some really good collection of handicrafts and handloom. We got almost everything that we wanted but in the payment counter they said that they accept ONLY CASH. When asked about why they didn't inform earlier about this, they gave the reason that we didn't ask about payment earlier. We had to go to an ATM to get the cash.

The place starts with display of various showpieces...especially of wooden rhinos.... It's a government registered center for local dresses like Assam silk, meklah, muga silk....and different local cultures.. well the prices are a little steep and do go there with deep pockets

Very good place to buy handicrafts and handloom items of Assam, price is bit high for handloom items, it is situated 300 meter from guwahati airport, its a assam government run shop.

This is the traditional Assamese handloom and handicrafts store. It's very old, has many interesting stuff to buy. It's located in Rehabari and also in Ambari as well.
