Found this place as one of best place to have Assamese Thaal near the Guwahati Airport. Foods are well presented and quality is maintained . More choice are there for non vegetarian but vegetarian dish are also available .

Just like I have mentioned in multiple platforms, Assamese Cuisine has always been my favourite. It reminds me of happier days in life. As someone from Assam, Assamese food is comfort food for me. When my partner and I landed in Guwahati from Bengaluru today (Sunday - June 22, 2025), the first thing that both of us badly wanted to do was to have a hearty Assamese meal. Now, we found this humble eatery right next to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati. We saw that quite a few people have given this place positive reviews. Therefore, we decided to have our lunch here. Since, we were in the mood for having vegetarian food, we ordered two (2) Assamese Vegetable Thalis and one (1) plate of Paneer. Everything was spot on, and we ended up having a memorable lunch. Right from the ambiance to the service, and from the quantity to the taste – there was nothing that we could criticize. Both of us finished everything included in the thalis and ordered extra serving of rice. Also, the food was absolutely economical. Man, we could not have asked for anything more. We came out of the place full and satisfied! We shall be visiting this place soon enough and this is for sure! Great work guys! Keep it up!

Food is great. I am a south indian and majority of the dishes tastes close to what we have in Chennai. Quiet affordable. Shuttle and neat ambiance. And good for gut as no problems faced. Highly recommended. Just 10 mins walk from airport. Instead of paying heafty inside airport we can walk, try their local cuisine.

Situated on the main road and very easy to find. The airport road is being renovated and parking is a bit difficult currently. Traditional Assamese thali is the main attraction. There is a small selection of side dishes as well.the food is good, but one needs to be prepared for really hot and spicy food. Extremely polite and friendly staff members.

First of all, it is right opposite the Guwahati airport, so very convenient. We didn't have much time & requested them to serve the thali as soon as possible and they did. We had the Assamese fish thali and Pork thali and both were excellent and very fulfilling. Quantity was good too.

We landed in Guwahati at 12 noon. We were damn hungry. Thus we found Kharoli, a traditional Assamese restaurant very near to the Guwahati Airport. We wanted to have vegetarian lunch today and thus ordered for Veg Thali with Paneer Curry. Firstly, they served a drink in a small glass. The drink seems like extracts of Elephant Apple fruit. It was indeed appetising. Served on a brass utensils, I must say that each items were tastier than the other. They served two types of Dal, Aloo Pitika with brinjal, Colocasia Root curry, a leafy vegetable, Baby Potato curry and lastly Rice Kheer as dessert. The Paneer Curry was extremely light with large and soft paneer pieces. The staff members were extremely cordial. I must say that it’s a must go place for food lovers.
